5.2.3.8 REVIEWER / SUPERVISOR- INSPECTION CELL shall be a Graduate with 1


year /Diploma Engineer with 2 years of experience in related discipline out of which
minimum 1 years in Inspection /QC & QA or related fields. The Reviewer shall be
competent to perform the review and shall have the code in line with WI/I/37, shall be
aware of ICS Inspection Manual and applicable procedures and ICS Software and
reporting protocols must have knowledge of 17020 and aware of ICS software and
system. The reviewer needs to appear for the code examination and should possess the
code for ICS Inspection Manual. The reviewer will refresh his knowledge by
reappearance of the codes applicable once in three years.

The qualification of the reviewers may be relaxed in case the requirement defined by
the client is lower than the above defined competence. Surveyors shall have working
knowledge of Quality Systems e.g. ISO 9001/ISO 17020.

REVIEWERS / SUPERVISOR shall be responsible for :


• Resolution of technical/system queries of Surveyors, if any
• Receipt of Approval from Inspection Cell for Inspection Code for concerned
surveyor.
• Review of Inspection Reports (IR’s) for completeness and adequacy and send
comments to Surveyors, if any, for incorporation.
• Review of IRN’s and forward these to INSPECTION CELL for APPROVAL
before release to Client .
• Conducting audit and document the performance of each surveyor competent
for relevant Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Regulations, which
shall include at least one onsite witness in each year and at additional times as
the need is felt using checklist FC_65.
• Monitoring through online system for field sites where Surveyors are performing
inspection activities and the date of visits
• Reviewing all files and seeking clarifications for any deficiency / clarification &
record comments and save on the file, also interacting with the surveyors which
shall also work our as discussions.
• The technical performance of the surveyors.
• Reporting Nonconforming activities to the Technical Managers
• Confirming that, the corrective action has been verified by the surveyor to
ensure compliance with the requirements of relevant ASME Code and relevant
Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Regulations
