In information system we have five components which are (Computer hardware –
Computer software – telecommunication – database and data warehouse – human resource
procedure).
Computer hardware is the physical technology that works with information. It includes
peripheral devices such as keyboard external disks etc.. so in hotel dieu the computer
hardware component is the computers that are used and the internal phones that relates
between the rooms and the reception as well as the disks that saves the information of the
client which will make it easier in order of several visits. We can also take into consideration
the routers that relates between the doctors. In this way it transmits everything into data
that makes everything easier.
The second one is the computer software which is the system application software which is
needed for hardware , which controls and assist the work of the hardware operations. In the
continuous advantages on the hospital , the computer software will create the documents
for the extern disks and arrange the process of them. As well as operating systems for the
desktops like windows or IOS , on the other side of the computer software it creates several
websites for the hospital which may help people reach what they are willing to know from
several information.
Telecommunication is the component that connects the hardware together to form a
network, it can be used through wires , fiber optics or internet cables. In the hotel
telecommunication can be used in 2 types , either LAN which connects people in the same
place it means in the same place it connect the office to the reception and from reception to
office between each other through the hospital offices. Whereas the second type is WAN
which which connects several LANs which may benefit the hospital between several places
In the same region
A database is a place where data is collected and from which it can be retrieved by querying
it using one or more specific criteria , which in the hotel can benefit them because its one of
the places that the most important thing is the data about the clients so the database is the
place where all the data are stored and queried for the hospital. The data warehouse is the
place where data are stored with the passage of the time both are considered the big data
for the hospital which implies with the absence of them all information from clients to
financial data will be lost which will create a gap and a time waste for the hospital in
general.
Human resources and procedure which is considered as the most important element since people
are needed to run the system and the procedure they follows to the database and software will run
and interpret what happens. From here we conclude that hardware computer and software cannot
run , that why even the hotels tends to hire IT specialists in order to run the MIS process.

 Collaboration is the activity of two or more people working together to achieve a

common goal, result, or work product , collaboration tools that are available to improve of
the team for a several project are , on a Wiki where the group can add information found on
the internet regarding a certain topic where the classmates can add , edit and remove
content from the wiki . here we can improve the work spirit and communication through
giving several opinions

On a blog , a student might post a content or videos he finds the best suitable towards the
end of the project semester , it also allows other students to add comments and contributes
to the betterment and improvements of the project. So here will appear several comments
for the project which will help to reach the achievement of the project.

Regarding to the Mashup , you could create a website about the project and let everyone
access , because you would have received into from different sources , and overall its all
about the work of all the group , and here the website will help the several opinions that at
the end will organizes the project and the communication between colleagues

As a conclusion , a collaboration is more effective which will help in a better way rather than
being on the own , and with such tools it will give the place to every person in the group to
share opinions and facts that will help at the end of the semester.
