Introduction

The task given exposed to me about statistics subject especially in chi square

and anova, where this topic used in our life to solve some of problems. This task

indirectly adds my knowledge about statistics in higher applications compared that I

learned previously. It also give me how to choose a pair of independent and dependent

variable to built the data in chi square.

The assignment automatically increase my computer knowledge usage

especially Microsoft Excel 2007 software. These tasks also apply the knowledge in

PGSR course in Mathematics subject that learned in fourth semester.

Statistics for this semester is new introduction especially I learned new term like

chi square, anova and so on and method calculations to solve the questions this topic

and then to related to our live in solve some of the problems.

Before this I only know the statistics about average ,min ,mod and range in

primary and secondary school have I learned .In this PGSR course in Mathematics

subject I can learn more about statistics where it use much more spacious.

The task also trains me to get the information from the school in process to finish

my assignment. These experiences can usage to get other information to other sources

for next time.

Conclusion

Conclusion that gets to do in finish this assignment is gain my knowledge in

mathematics especially in statistics in manual and application Microsoft Excel 2007 to

calculate the equation of the regression line and plot graph of the regression line for the

data set. Indirectly I know to use statistics in my job as a teacher.

Many more Excel application that not yet known through this assignment I can

gain the knowledge about Excel 2007 in doing statistics. These tasks also use my

knowledge to solve the questions about chi square and Anova.

Statistics in my case I get it in weight pupils in my school, indirectly I know the

pupil’s average weight year 1 until year 6 based of data from a class teachers. In my

case when age increase weight also increase. By thinking logic also so it proven with

data that achieved.

Statistics is either important topic in mathematics to individual especially in

academic field, economy, military and so on that want to study something. For example

in education the statistics very important to know the pupils absent and presence,

eligible pupils get the school aids and so on.

The overall statistics very important in our life to do research and to know

something in daily life situations.

Reflection

By doing this assignment I had gained a lot of experiences and knowledge in

process complete the task based on time given. I never make a plan to do especially

about this task about chi square and anova, that why this task implementation moves

was not so smooth.

Blessing Alhamdulilah with the permission can I complete this assignment that is

given to me. I want to wish thank you to Mathematics lecturers especially Pn Azizah Hj

Tengah which he explain and provide information on this assignment needs.

In same time, these tasks remind to me need to apply my knowledge during in

class mathematics learn statistics (chi square and anova) topic to finish my assignment

on date line. This task also can improve my English language because I need open the

dictionary and search in internet to know the meaning some words to writing in my task.

Through my random observation and based on data the weight pupils will be

increased when their age increase, this a normal situations for children’s call it the grow

up process to every children.

Indirectly I also can apply computer knowledge especially Microsoft Excel 2007

that learned in class to complete my assignment. To become a good student is not easy

must study hard and smart study and need have sacrifice to be made for good in future

to myself and my family in process up grade my career.

. This task also sprouting thought of me to think and apply knowledge that learnt at

college. I hope my assignment can accept by lecturer based on the question task.
Task 1 ( Make short notes )

I and my friend Shahidan Ahmad get information about average weight and

increase age from SK Simpor Sg Petani. We will take the data with interview the class

teacher year 1 until year 6 to get data, which every class teacher have a record the

weight of pupils each class to fill in ADAB book.

From the data we can see do age become heavier will also increase through the

collecting data from a class teacher year 1 until year 6 in SK Simpor Sg Petani.
