Our Objectives

● Psychomotor- By the end of the lesson, the student will be able to correctly
perform the pass 3 out of the 5 times with their dominant foot.

● Cognitive- After class students will take an exit slip and be able to achieve
a score of at least 3 out of 5 correct.

● Affective- During class students will respect and cooperate with each
other during the daily activities.
Standards
Standard 1. The physically literate individual demonstrates competency in a variety of motor
skills and movement patterns.

Standard 2. The physically literate individual applies knowledge of concepts, principles, strategies
and tactics related to movement and performance

Standard 3. The physically literate individual demonstrates the knowledge and skills to achieve

Assessment Description: Psychomotor

The psychomotor assessment was done by 2 teachers. The students were


partnered up to stand across the gym from each other to assess their kicking
skills. The students were assessed using a checklist that contained the five
critical elements that were demonstrated prior to the assessment.

Psychomotor Assessment Analysis

● 8 people improved in the post-test


● 3 people stayed the same. One was at a four out of five, and two of the
students already had perfect scores from the pre-test.
● No one declined in the psychomotor assessments. Every student present
increased or stayed the same.
● Avg pre-test scores were 3.3 out of 5
● Avg post-test scores were 4.2 out of 5
● Avg improvement was 0.9 out of 5 or 90%
Assessment Description: Cognitive

The cognitive assessment was an exit slip given at the end of the lesson. It had
five questions that tested the student’s knowledge on passing a soccer ball.
Students were expected to get 3 out of 5 correct.

● The affective assessment was another exit slip that asked the students
how he or she felt when doing the soccer activities.
● The students choose how they felt about about the warm-up, passing with
a partner, the passing accuracy drill, and small-sided games.
● The four options they could pick from were not comfortable, somewhat
comfortable, very comfortable, or unsure.

● Overall, the students were cooperative and


worked together as a team.
● Everyone expressed positive attitudes and
effort during our drills.
● Reviewing our results, the average of the
class chose very comfortable to all our
activities.
How Can We Improve Our Assessments?

- More organized during activities and explanations


- Talk louder and more clear with directions
- More time on task/Less standing and waiting
- Have exit slips ready for students
