Installation Files
-Extract Informatica Disc1 and Disc 2.
-Under Disc1 folder, unextract pcc811_windows32
C:\Download\OBIEE_Informatica_Downloads\infa_powercenter_windows_x86_32bit_811_disc1\Informatica_8.1.1_PowerCenter_Windows_
32Bit\PowerCenter_8.1.1_SE_for_Windows_32Bit\pc811_windows32
Click on Server
Click next
Enter the license key from the disc2
C:\Download\OBIEE_Informatica_Downloads\infa_powercenter_windows_x86_32bit_811_disc2\Oracle_
All_OS_Prod.key
Click Next
Select “Install PowerCenter 8.1.1”
Click Next
Click Install
Installation in progress
Select “Create New Domain” and
Click Next
Change the database URL, user
id, password and service name
- If the domain name is not recognized,
use the ip address.
- use admin as password
Uncheck the checkbox
Select “Create new PowerCenter repository”
Create Integration Service.. Use
“Administrator” as password. Click
Next
Click Done
Informatica Client Setup Starts
here..
Click Next
Select Complete and click Next
Click Next
Click Next
Click Install
Click Done
