Answers:

1. Each of the flyers that I have collected introduced products related to technology with corresponding
specifications and features that are fitted to the satisfaction of their customers. The Samsung flyer
introduced and unveiled their new phone and they used the flyers to spread the news to everyone. The
flyer contained the phone’s specifications and features. The Globe flyer introduced their new promo of
internet service. While the Abenson flyer shows the different household appliances they have for their
customers.

2. The three companies used their own way of advertising their own products. The Samsung flyer
showed a dark touch to their flyer because of the unique feature that the phone possesses which is the
Night Cam. It only advertised one product. The Globe flyer featured the benefit of subscribing to their
internet service promo which is the fast internet connection speed. The Abenson flyer comprised of
different types of household appliances and also showed different promos.

3. The images on the flyers represent products and services of different companies. Flyers are used to
advertise different products and services of different businesses and companies. The flyers that I have
collected are from Abenson, Samsung and Globe. Each of them advertising and showing the people
different products they have in store for them. Abenson has household appliances such as televisions
and refrigerators. Samsung has mobile phones. Globe offers online services such as providing an
internet connection.

1. What are the similar descriptions used among the groups?

All of the flyers that I have obtained from Pacific Mall Lucena showcases their promos and promotes
their particular product or service. They all focused on a specific product or service and gives all the
features and specifications of what they are promoting to the target potential market. As I was walking
in the said establishment, they hand these flyers to the same people, thus we can say that they are after
with the same buyers. All of the flyers used photos that best describe the product or service they are
selling as well as convey the meaning of the products which people can easily relate to.

2. What are the unique descriptions used among the groups?

These companies have their own way on how to present their product in their flyers. They have different
colour palette that convey different feels to the receiver of the flyer. The way they presented their
product with their words enhances the product promotion. They differ on how the flyers have been
layout. Some are giving their products first before the price and some are giving of the product as well
as the price in the first page. Though these companies are showcasing different products and services,
the way they represent them are still unique than the others.

3. Based on the activity, what is the connection of those images from each other?

They used the images that are most suitable with the product and what can be most relatable to any
target buyers of that product or service. Most of them used family-themed photos while some used
endorsers. The vivid photos of the product itself are evident in every pages of each flyer. The colour and
font style added quality to the flyer and made it more appealing to the readers, thus making it more
interesting to read. The more interesting it is, the more chances of winning customers and selling the
product.
