INTRODUCTION:
Marketing is as old as mankind. Educational Institutions trying to attract students,
actors promoting films, politicians seeking votes, Insurance agents selling new
policies are examples of marketing in practice. Business need to practice
marketing for achieving growth and generating profits to survive. Marketing is
the process of finding consumer needs and serving those needs profitably. Thus
customer is the heart of marketing activities. Marketing people is involved in
Marketing 10 types of entities: - goods, services, experiences, events, persons,
places, properties, organizations, information and ideas.

person-to-person relationship in showing the public about their brand’s name.

METHODOLOGY:
PRIMARY DATA:
In this study primary data was collected. The primary data for this
research study was collected through a questionnaire; the data was collected
from 8 Clients of the REDSolar Company which served as the primary source
of data for the analysis of this research and that lead this research study to the
exploration of customer relationship management. Research approach was
used with a view to know the experience of clients. The research questions
are then confirmed or rejected by subsequent analysis of the pure quantitative
data. After receiving permission from the company, the questionnaire was
distributed to few potential clients. The data collected was then graphed and
analyzed.
SECONDARY DATA:
It refers to the data that has been already collected. The secondary data, which
has been used to carry out this study, is taken from several testimonials and
websites.
ANALYSIS OF DATA:
Researcher has identified suitable statistical and analytical software after
gathering of data. Researcher has used software to analysis data i.e. Microsoft
EXCEL and other suitable statistical tool also used for data analysis purpose.

TYPES OF SOLAR SYSTEMS:
ONGRID SYSTEM:
You don’t have to worry about storing any energy; the grid will usually be there
to make sure all the loads can run when the user wants them. On-Grid solar
systems are connected to the utility grid, which has been delivering power to your
homes conventionally, such as BESCOM in Bengaluru. As a result, home owners
can export excess power produced back to the grid and import power from the
grid if the consumption is lesser than production, say at night or on a windy day.
Pros: These are the simplest & most cost-effective systems to install at your home.
These systems would be able to pay for themselves by offsetting your electricity
bill in 5-6 years.
Cons: On-grid solar systems only generate power when the utility grid is
available. They must be connected to the grid to function. Hence, they won’t
provide power incases of power cuts.

OFFGRID SYSTEM :
Off-grid can be stand-alone power system or mini-grids typically to provide a
smaller community with electricity. Off-grid solar power also stores DC
electricity in batteries. Off-grid systems are not connected to the utility grid;
instead, they are connected to batteries which store excess power, which is used
in the event of non-production, say in the night. These systems can use only as
much power as they produce.

CHARGE CONTROLLER
INVERTER
Most solar panels have wattage between 250-325 W, which means that each such
panel, at full efficiency will be able to produce 250-325 W power, per hour. As
per solar irradiance data for Bengaluru & Vizag, the average hours of full
efficiency are anywhere between 4 & 6 on a sunny day. Thus, if you’ve installed
a 3kW system at your house, you can expect an output of 12-18 units (kWh) of
electricity production on an average sunny day.
1-KW solar panel system generates on an average of 4 kWh or 4 Units per day.
Which translates to 120 units per month. Do check your electricity bill to check

what your usage is. If your usage is 600 units per month, Power of Solar Panel
System = Monthly usage/120 = 600/120 = 5-KW system

DATA ANALYSIS
RESEARCH DESIGN:

The customer feedback survey was administered to few clients of redsolar company all
responses were received.

to carry out this study, is taken from several testimonials and websites.
ANALYSIS OF DATA:

INTERPRETATION: This data indicates that the majority 55% of the
company’s clients who participated in the questionnaire feel that they are aware
of climate change and solar technologies, 45% clients are not aware of climate
change and don’t have a clear understanding of solar technologies. Few weren’t
aware of solar technologies, before the solar panel installation, got to know valid
information from RED Solar and they had full belief in RED Solar.
INTERPRETATION: This data indicates that the 40% of the company’s clients found red
solar through various promotional activities done by red solar, 32% clients found red solar
through referrals,5% through information search and other 23% clients found red solar
through website. Few got to know about RED Solar through advertising campaign done by
red solar through the van on beach road, and others found RED Solar in an event called solar
expo conducted in AU grounds.

INTERPRETATION: This data indicates that the 63% clients of red solar
visited website where as 37% of the clients didn’t visited website.
This data indicates that the 72% clients of red solar will tell their friends and
colleagues about red solar where as 28% of the clients are not interested.
Customers refer red solar to friends and family because Rooftop solar power is
helpful in increasing electricity efficiency, considering the short distance.

This data indicates that the most of the customers were happy with the red solar, considering
that solar panels typically produce electricity consistently for up to 25 years, you’re looking at
whole-of-life savings in the tens of thousands of saving your money.
Many of the customers Government of India has initiated solar energy subsidy schemes to
help individuals and organizations procure solar energy systems at reduced capital costs.
These solar subsidy schemes are a part of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission in
January 2010 to promote electricity generation using solar energy. They know that they
will receive subsidies.

going solar and handle all of it. We take a hands-on customized approach to each customer we
work with and work hard to find the best solution for them. RED Solar provides free monthly

9. Did you find our RED SOLAR TEAM helpful and answer your questions?
INTERPRETATION:
Most of the clients were very happy with the red solar team, very well done, with plenty of
time for questions. Red solar have cleared all their doubts, they have no problem with the
technical team as well as the maintenance team. They chose RED Solar because they
immediately responded and cleared all their doubts. The procedure of installation was
explained by them very clearly which shows that they are customer centric company and the
way they approached customer’s .so they think there is no need for improvement in the
services. They had no technical problems with their red solar team as their team way of
approach is very friendly and answered all their queries. they are very delighted with their
services because one of the customer had a problem due to which red solar team had to shift
whole system but the technical team and maintenance team did not disturb them at all. Work
was very impeccable. They have proved their worth; they delivered what they have promised.

FINDINGS
Customer satisfaction is high in RED SOLAR because the quality of services they
provide is very high, maintenance policy in RED SOLAR is very feasible as the
customers are given free maintenance for 5 years.

Excellent on all counts. Responsive, professional, fast, and high quality. Good follow up and
immediate troubleshooting to get everything up, running, and registered. From beginning to
end I was highly impressed and satisfied with RED Solar. Every aspect of the installation was
exceptional. Customer Service/Installers/Follow up was all incredible. I did a fair amount of
web research and then did 3 phone interviews of potential installers. Solar Energy was timely,
professional and flexible in their proposal (some installers wanted to do things ONLY their
way or didn't call back for days), and the actual installation was completely uneventful, looks
great and the paperwork and coordination with the utility was all handled by them with no
involvement from me. And the system is working just fine. Their price was very competitive
I am aware of subsidies and also the climate change which affects the solar system, I have
awareness about how solar system works in different seasons and also how it works. I have
also referred to my friends about the red solar as its one time investment and like the red solar
team way of approach, and was convinced to install. I want to upgrade the system by installing
and would be approaching the team soon.

We contacted red solar; we met with Rajesh Varma who was extremely helpful in answering
all my questions and accommodating all of our needs. We always desired solar system we
thought it wasn't going to be possible to stay within our budget .RED Solar made it very
possible. They designed it to be installed right where we had planned for it. The installers were
very polite, friendly and professional throughout the entire installation. It was a seamless
installation our solar system was installed within 2 weeks of our initial conversation. We highly
recommend RED Solar to anyone that is tired of paying a high electric bill.
Being a science lecturer, I have always believed in effective utilization of resources & being
environmentally responsible. So I decided to go solar then I found RED Solar recommended
by my brother. They are very friendly, responsible & trustworthy. They provide the best
installation and maintenance, services for their products.no problems in technical field as well.
I have saved a lot in terms of consumption as well as money. I’m aware of subsidies. Till date
I haven’t faced any problem with the equipment.

technology, you’re likely to have a lot of questions both before and after your purchase. Look
for a company that offers customer support you can rely on for pre-purchase information,
troubleshooting and any other assistance you might need after installation.redsolar is one of

panels, if you choose carefully, you’re likely to be pleased with the results once your solar

SUGGESTIONS
RED SOLAR is a customer centric organization, they deliver what they promise,
most of their raw material is out sourced panels are manufactured from VIKRAM
AND WARRIE, not only panels they also procure invertors from DELTA and
FRONIOUS these procured raw materials take time to arrive and the
commencement of project gets delayed.
If they can produce their own raw material or if they can resolve the issue of
project getting delayed, the company has no other negative remarks.
