Federer Gets ‘RF’ Logo
Back From Nike
Roger Federer, who left Nike apparel to
join Uniqlo in 2018, has obtained the rights
to his “RF” logo from Nike. The 20-time
Grand Slam champion was not allowed to
use the logo for the past couple of years, as
Nike reportedly used that time to sell the
remainder of its Federer apparel.
The 38-year-old superstar has continued
to wear Nike shoes at his matches since
leaving the brand and signing with Uniqlo
for a rumored $30 million annually. Neither
Federer nor Uniqlo have indicated what
they may have planned with the RF logo.

Ashaway Introduces Hybrid

String Sets for Badminton
Ashaway Racket Strings has introduced
Rogue Duo Hybrid, its first hybrid string
set for badminton. Rogue Duo Hybrid
combines two Ashaway Beta Polymer
strings specifically formulated for use in
hybrid sets.
The mains are made of RD68, a black
0.68 mm string, designed to provide a
durable stringbed. The crosses are RD61,
an orange 0.61 mm string with a textured
gripping surface for control and sharp
spin. Beta Polymer string technology
maximizes shuttle speed and generates
excellent repulsion, says Ashaway.
“Hybrid stringing has been gaining
popularity in badminton for several
years,” says Ashaway’s Steve Crandall.
“Rogue Duo Hybrid provides a hybrid
string pattern for top players designed
to optimize precision shot making with
maximum spin and control.”

Listening & Social Styles

The most important skill for selling is
the ability to listen. People listen with
less than 50 percent accuracy. People
remember less than 50 percent of what
they hear. It is critical to do better than
this when interacting with students
and customers.
It is of paramount importance to
understand that the essence of good
selling is to ask questions, then to listen
well to the answers. A professional
needs to listen to what the student is
saying they want from the lesson and
match the benefit(s) of their lesson and
