BETWEEN:

Bethireddy Venkata Suryanarayana Reddy … Plaintiff

AND

Savathani Uppari … Defendant

CHIEF EXAMINATION FILED IN THE FORM OF AFFIDAVIT FILED BY THE PLAINTIFF

UNDER ORDER 18 RULE 4 OF CPC

I, Bethireddy Venkata Surynarayana Reddy, S/o. Govinda Reddy, 45 years, Hindu,

male, Inaparru, Iragavaram Mandal, Tanuku J.C.J. do hereby solemnly affirm and state on
oath as follows:

I am the plaintiff in the above suit and as such I am fully acquainted with the facts of
the case. I filed the above suit for the recovery of the amount due under the promissory
note dt.12.03.2006. The defendant borrowed an amount of Rs.20000/- (Rupees Twenty
thousand only) from me on 12.03.2006 agreeing to repay the same together with interest at
24% P.A., either to me or to my order and executed a promissory note of the even date to
that effect in my favour at Inaparru. The suit pronote was scribed by Yalamarthi Machiri
Pattabhi Ramayya and attested by Parimi Venkata Ramana and Satti Govinda Reddy. The
defendant received the consideration of Rs.20,000/- from me in the presence of Yalamarthi
Machiri Pattabhi Ramayya, Parimi Venkata Ramana and Satti Govinda Reddy. Not with
standing the repeated demands made by me personally and through mediators, the
defendant has been postponing the payment on one pretext or the other and did not pay
anything to me. Hence I filed above suit.

I therefore humble pray that the Hon’ble Court may be pleased to pass a decree in
my favour against the defendant for an amount of Rs.34360/- (Rupees Thirty four thousand
three hundred and sixty only) towards the suit amount and subsequent interest on the
principal amount for the date of suit to the date of realization and for the costs of the suit by
marking the promissory note dt.12.03.2006 as Ex.A-1 in the interest of justice.
