Course Title: Integral Calculus

Course Code: MATH 5
Course Description:
This is a basic course in Integral Calculus emphasizing the correspondence between derivatives
(Differential Calculus), its anti-derivatives (Integral calculus), and its practical applications to the real world.
The emphasis in this course is on problem solving, not on the presentation of theoretical
considerations. The syllabus includes most of the basic topics in the theory of integral calculus as
indefinite, indefinite, techniques on a real variable on the integrands of: algebraic, trigonometric,
logarithmic and exponential functions, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.

Course Requirements:
Student enrolled in Integral Calculus is expected to attend classes, shall participate in classroom
discussions/exercises and shall take the written examinations as scheduled. Major exams make-ups
are not allowed. Differential Calculus course is a pre-requisite.
