Special stitches

Front post double crochet (FP dc)

Yarn over, insert hook from front to back around next stitch,
yarn over, pull through (photo 1), there will be 3 loops on your
hook (photo 2), finish your front post double crochet (FP dc)
as normal dc (photo 3).

V- stitch (v-st)
Work (dc, ch1, dc) into the specified stitch

Now you have to join both front and back so that you can continue to
work skirt part in rounds.
When finished the back without turning (it means working on wrong side)
join with sl st into the first st (in 3rd ch of ch-4) of the front working on
wrong side as well. Do not fasten off.

Row 10: (WS) ch4 (counts as first dc and ch1), * CL shell in next

Thread the needle with the tail you left when finished the front and stitch
the other side as well, make very small seam, just so that it holds together,

Finishing:
Join yarn (same color as the top) into the centre of the underarm
and work evenly sc all across the armhole, across the strap,
work 9sc into the button loop, continue to work sc evenly
across the neckline and another strap, work 9sc into the
second button loop and continue to work evenly sc all around
until you arrive to the first sc, join with sl st into first sc.
Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
Sew buttons on the sides of the front. I suggest to sew them
on between first row of dc and first ruffle. If you sew them on
the first row of dc only straps will stretch out the holes you
have in Row 2 and they will look too big and not nice.
