DESCRIPTION
The intent of this PROCEDURE is to describe how the CONTRACTOR shall isolate, pu
rge the lines and then execute the tie-in F07-001 (Fluid: Wet Crude) to be perfo
rmed during the shutdown.

The CLIENT shall:


Depressurize the line 20 -SW-4051-1AIA,20 -SW-5307-1AIA
The CONTRACTOR shall:
1. Prefabricate the new spool and perform Hydro test before the Tie In Activitie
s
2. Isolate the pipe section for Tie-In
3. Steam cleaning the pipe section for Tie-In
4. Execute the Tie-in connection
5. Purge with Nitrogen
6. Provide a leak test of the section
7. Supply a vacuum track to collect the waste.

ISOLATION OF PIPING SECTION


To allow the operations of cleaning by steam and nitrogen purging, the Contracto
r shall:
* Make sure that the line 20 -SW-4051-1AIA are free from supply
* Make sure that the line 20 -SW-5307-1AIA are free from supply
* Close gate valve 20 on the existing line 20 -SW-4051-1AIA
* Remove the instruments and place the plugs.
STEAM CLEANING OF THE PIPING SECTION
To clean the existing piping section and assure no presence of hydrocarbon and n
o traces of H2S, the Contractor will flush by steam as follows:
* Connect the steam generator to the steam injection point
Work sequence as follows:
* Place the steam generator in position near to the piping system
* Confirm that the system is completely drained
* Perform a complete walk down of all piping and components between the isolatio
n device
* Lay down of temporary steam hoses
* Check the piping system is isolated
* Connect the steam hoses to the injection points as identified for the piping s
ystem
* Inject the steam from steam generator through temporary hoses to the piping sy
stem
* Gas testing (for LEL, H2S)
* Check the open position of vent and drain across the pipe section during the s
team out operation.
COLD CUT EXECUTION
Before allowing the works commence, the Proponent will test for gases and if the
lines are free from any hazard gases the permit will be issued.
Contractor, upon receipt of the work permit shall proceed.
1. Cold cut at point, coordinate E= -38897 and N= 163497, elevation W.P. 109642,
on the existing line 20 -SW-5307-1A1M, to perform tie-in F08-026.
TIE INS EXECUTION
The proponent will test for gases before allowing the works to commence.
If the line will result free from any hazard gases, the permit will be issued.
Then SA shall issue a work permit to contractor to proceed with the works.
Contractor, upon receipt of the work permit, shall proceed to:
1. Remove the existing spool piece and replace with the new spool piece.
2. Tighten all bolts
3. Paint and touch-up activities to be carry-out
4. Clean the area.
PURGING OF THE LINES
After the Tie-in operation, the CONTRACTOR will begin to purge the line with nit
rogen to dry out and to ensure that the line is free from O2.
The Contractor will proceed as follows:
* Connect the nitrogen generator to the injection point
The flushing flow rate will remain constant and continuous until the line is dry
.
After the flushing, all the circuits will be checks in order to verify the prese
nce of hydrocarbon gas and H2S.
POST TIE-IN OPERATION
A LEAK TEST must be done to ensure the flanged connection. The contractor shall:
1. Tape all the flanges on systems to be tested
2. Pressurize system to 50 psig for all systems (by nitrogen)
3. Isolate from the nitrogen source and identify all leaks using soap solution a
t small hole on each flange. The pressure should hold on 50 psig systems for thr
ee (3) hours
