I serve(d) teaching hours to several Specialization Schools and to PhD courses in Oncology,
Biochemistry, Cardiology and Experimental Medicine.
Clinical Experience and Duties
I serve as MD in the Laboratory for Clinical Immunology of the Policlinico A. Gemelli, since 1991.
The laboratory runs approximately 200 000 tests/year in the fields of systemic and organ-specific
autoimmune diseases, allergies, monoclonal gammapathies and HLA typing.
Additional information: scientific activity, prizes, etc.

• Role of Antigen presenting cells from lymph node and CNS in vivo and in vitro
• Regulation of Th1/Th2 polarization
• Naked DNA vaccination in adult and in uterus
• Identification and recruitment of T cells ex vivo
• Role of bacteria in human and experimental autoimmunity
