ACADEMIC PROJECTS
1. A Study on 2 Sorting Algorithms, under CSE HOD Subhashis Majumder. Improved Level Sort, which on
analyzing shows that it is fast for close ranges and desirable for arrays with repetitions. Level
Interpolation Sort, on analyzing shows that it is 15-30% faster than Heap Sort and and 40-80% faster
than Improved Level Sort.

2. A POS(Point of Sales) System, under CSE HOD Subhashis Majumder. The system was designed to work
for real-time environment between consumers and retailers. Front-end developed using xhtml, css,
javascript extended with Java at back-end and oracle database.

3. Developed a MGNREGA-inspired web-application, a mini project on the lines of the existing GOV.
MGNREGA site using J2EE to highlight implementation of the scheme in various districts of West Bengal.

WORK EXPERIENCE
TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES (Oct’16 – May’18)

1. ASSISTANT SYSTEMS ENGINEER TRAINEE

• Completed the Initial Learning Program (ILP) in BIPM. Officially mentored colleagues in softskills.

• Gained working knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica, Tableau along with SAPBO, Data
Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts.

• Headed a demo BI project on KPI analysis for the provided data for a telecom industry using
snowflake schema. It was finally implemented in a dashboard using SAPBO.
 2. ASSISTANT SYSTEMS ENGINEER (LEADING US-BASED NEWSPAPER PUBLISHING CLIENT GROUP)

• Involved in business report creation/modification as per client demand in Agile environment.

• Worked on SSRS and SSIS (Visual Studio). Largely involved in PL/SQL procedure creation to pull
warehouse data to reports, as well as routine SSIS job monitoring.
• Appointed primary deployment resource for spearheading successful migration of all reports and
packages from Dev to Prod environment, and maintaining concise records of the same in SVN.
Headed regular meetings to present WSR (weekly status reports). Collaborated with onsite
counterparts to investigate possibility of legacy data clearance to reduce SSIS job runtimes.
• Worked on DFP API (currently Google Ad Manager API) version update in Aug,2017 post
deprecation of previous version.

ANDHRA BANK (June’18 – June’19)

1. PROBATIONARY OFFICER

 Involved in bank account creation/modification/deletion and CTS cheque clearing. Worked on

withdrawal/money transfer/RTGS/IMPS/NEFT/IMPS (only entry-level transactions). Mobilization
of PMJDY and APY among semi-rural masses. Participated in Awareness Drive in schools to
further financial inclusion. Participated in credit card mobilization as well.

2. ASSISTANT MANAGER (ON PROBATION)

 Appointed ATM/BNA custodian of branch. Involved in regular cash replenishment.

 Limited exposure to NPA recovery and gold loans.
 Largely involved in maintaining CKYC compliance for branch accounts as per RBI directive.
