In line with the school’s directive, we will continue our classes through online means.

This means I will


be giving out lessons and assignments and conducting quizzes and exams online. For our Negotiable
Instruments Law Class, please be guided by the following:

1. Our Facebook Messenger Group will be our primary means of communication, especially when
it comes to class announcements (applicable only during this period of suspension of physical
classes). Thus, only announcements or documents coming from me will be placed or sent in our
chat group. No unnecessary comments/suggestions are allowed so as not to clutter/disrupt the
chat. Any valid questions or concerns should be coursed through your Class Rep (as per usual),
and he will be the one to raise such questions/concerns in the chat group.
2. In place of class discussions, I will be sending out hand-outs/study guides of our remaining topics
in doc/pdf files, which you can access through our Facebook messenger group. These will be
sent weekly anytime on or before our usual Tuesday schedule. In case the group chat cannot
support large files, I will send them through e-mail. In any case, I will notify the class in the chat
group that I have already sent the discussion for the week.
3. In place of oral recitations, I will be giving out assignments and/or quizzes. I will give out the
assignment and/or quiz in our Facebook messenger group, but your answers should be sent
individually to the following email address: uvnego2020@gmail.com.
4. For our examinations, please be guided by the following:1
a. Everyone will be given prior notice of the date and time of our exam. (Should there be
any conflict with other subjects, please notify me immediately so that we can work it
out).
b. If I announce the time of the exam to be at 4:00PM (for example), that means that the
exam questions will be uploaded at 4:00PM, more or less and barring any other
unforeseen circumstances.
c. Thereafter, everyone will be given 2 HOURS2 to COMPLETE AND SEND their answers to
the following email address: uvnego2020@gmail.com.
d. ALL ANSWERS SENT BEYOND THE ALLOTTED TIME (EG. 2 HOURS) SHALL NOT BE
CONSIDERED. Time stamp on your email = time answers were sent.
5. ALL ANSWERS to quizzes and examinations shall be HANDWRITTEN (any piece of paper will do).
To send, take a photo of your handwritten answers and send to the email address indicated
above. Make sure that the paper where your answers are written contains your name, and if
with multiple pages, is numbered accordingly.
6. The Subject of your email shall be constructed accordingly: <TYPE OF
EXAM/QUIZ/ASSIGNMENT><STUDENT NAME> (eg. MIDTERMS PATAC, VALERIE GAYLE).
