Internet Connectivity
• Check the Wi-fi Signal on the Task Bar of Laptop and ensure it is connected to
WiFi .

• Try to open www.ndtv.com , https://www.indiatimes.com/ . If these opens then


Internet is working on your Laptop
• For Checking speed of Internet on your Laptop Click https://www.speedtest.net/
and press Go. Check the result for actual Bandwidth
• In Case Internet doesn’t work , please check with your internet service provider or try
with Mobile Hotspot etc .
• Internet Working but Not Able to open Tata Steel Internet Sites
1. Open Show Hidden Icons in task bar .

2. Check for Zscaler App Icon in blue.


3. Check if Zscaler Private Access (Required for accessing Tata Steel site) is enabled in the app .
4. In case you find any “Authentication Error” or “Connection Error” , please click “Authenticate”
or “Retry” link else please follow below process .
Note: The below mentioned is valid only when the laptop is connected to Internet i.e. Mobile
Hotspot etc.

In Case of Authentication Error, Follow the below Steps

Press CTRL button on your Laptop and take the mouse cursor on the below image and then press
Mouse Left Click

Click YES to Proceed .


Click Open

Then Click Authentication

• Wait after Authentication and then check accessing Tata Steel

Even if after following above Steps you are not able to access Tata Steel
application then please call Toll Free Number 18004199924

• Please ensure your Laptop or Desktop is connected to Internet
o Laptop –
▪ In case of Laptop it should be connected to Wi-fi or LAN
Cable connected to Modem .
▪ Check the Internet Connectivity on your Laptop by accessing
websites on your Laptop like www.ndtv.com
https://www.indiatimes.com/
▪ For Checking speed of Internet on your Laptop Click
https://www.speedtest.net/ and press Go. Check the result for actual
Bandwidth
o Desktop – It should be connected through directly through
Internet Modem.
▪ In case of Desktop, it should be connected to Wi-fi or
Cable.
▪ Check the Internet Connectivity on your Desktop by accessing
websites like www.ndtv.com https://www.indiatimes.com/
▪ For Checking speed of Internet , Click https://www.speedtest.net/
and press Go. Check the result for actual Bandwidth

• Open Internet Explorer on your system .


• Open URL https://maap.tatasteel.co.in/vpn/index.html on the browser of your system .
• Download Citrix ICA Client from below URL (link) and Install on your system .

• Login with your AD id and Password .

o In case you have Forget your AD password then you can reset using below link .

or Else you can reach Service Desk at 0657-6647070 to get your password .

• Once you login into system . You will be able to view all applications like SAP , MS
Office , Work Folder (with the name of your AD id ).

• Click on Icon to Open the application and work.


• Save all your document in the Work Folder / Home
Folder (Visible in Screen) .
