Nouns ending in -Y behind a SOME nouns ending in SOME nouns ending in -O behind a
consonant change -Y into -IES: -F or -FE change -F(E) consonant get -ES:
lady  -  ladies into -VES: potato  -  potatoes
baby  -  babies knife  -  knives tomato  -  tomatoes
wife  -  wives
