Student Teacher: 5th Grade and 4th - 6th Grade Special Education
Taught Language Arts, Math, Technology, and Social Studies to a fifth-grade classroom of 18 students in the Fall of 2019.
Moved to the Special Education Classroom in January 2020 for Spring Semester. Taught small groups of special education
students in the subjects of Math and Language Arts.

KIDS AT THE POINT BIBLE DAY CAMP, Hendricks, MN 6/2010 – Current

Volunteer Leader
Worked at week-long day camp every summer for the past nine years. Spent the days and some evenings supervising kids aged
preschool through 12th grade. Planned and taught daily lessons, arts, crafts, music, distributed lunches, and assisted with
maintaining a safe and supervised day camp.


Substitute Paraprofessional (PreK-6)
Worked as a substitute paraprofessional in the Ivanhoe School District for one year before going back to school to secure degree
in Elementary and Special Education. Worked as a substitute in the preschool classroom with a high needs special education
student for majority of that time. Some of the time was spent in the kindergarten classroom working with a student on letter
recognition and other reading skills. Also substituted as a paraprofessional in the upper elementary grades working with
students in their classrooms as well as in the special education classroom on occasion.


Teacher and Curriculum Development (Infant-PreK
Worked in the infant classroom as a lead teacher and later transferred to the Toddler class. Developed a curriculum program for
the Toddlers and Preschool classes that included school readiness materials as well as crafts.
