Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing this letter today to strongly recommend Ms. Sri Sowmya Moturu in her
application for Masters in Software Engineering from Villanova University. Sowmya is an
outstanding student both in academics and extra circular activities. While pursuing Masters in
Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Lean Operations & Systems, Sowmya always stood
among top 5% in every trimester. Her other instructors of different courses speak highly about her
performance during their classes and the day to day improvements, as well. Her hard work got her
into one of the best internship opportunities as a Data Analyst with Citicorp Services Private
Limited. Sowmya was among the 5 out of 750 students to grab this opportunity. During the course,
her interests were inclined towards Information Technology (IT) which accelerated in making up her
mind to pursue a career in this field. Sowmya never failed to achieve what she always dreamed about.
Further, in college placements she was selected as a Business Analyst for Tata Consultancy
Services (TCS), the biggest Indian multinational IT consulting firm. As an achievement of
professional recognition, Sowmya has been awarded Meritorious Scholarship from the University.

Besides being an excellent performer in her academics, her positive attitude and
strong personality made her dig into new concepts which assisted in acquiring knowledge and
exploring various boundaries. Sowmya has a strong inclination towards Case Study analysis which
associated her in a workshop COGNOSCO'17, a sixth national conference on Case Studies. She was
awarded "Lean Six Sigma Certification" for completing requirement of Green Belt program on Lean
Six Sigma Methodology.

Sowmya brings to all activities energy, enthusiasm and commitment. Her strong
disposition, good rapport with all the students, and leadership qualities made her an Organizing
Coordinator at CHRIZELLENZ'17, an Intra-Collegiate Management Fest organized by Institute of
Management, Christ (Deemed to be University). Her participation in volunteering works organized by
the student committee is commendable. She lead the inter department Women's Throw ball team and
bagged the first place in ALTIUS'17, an inter - department sporting fest. Her ability to manage
academics and extra circular activities explains her time management and organizing skills. All the
skills inculcated by Sowmya, during the course, have sculpted her to become a better individual.
 I strongly believe Ms. Sri Sowmya Moturu will be a potential candidate for your
