Thank you for your response.

I do not recollect giving my consent for such a service to be activated on my account.

Request you to show proof of my consent for the same.

We may have to seek help from the public grievance cell (banking) on this.

I may also have to pursue a case of inappropriate selling or other provisions as applicable as per the guidelines by
the relevant authority.

I repeat again that any such debits made for services not subscribed to by me are not authorised by me and that any
such debits made would attract protections provided by the system.

Let’s solve this issue by avoiding such debits on the account and reversing the debits made in this service.

We wish to clarify that the SMS alert charges is applicable from effective from 15 June 2017, as per
the Schedule of Service charges (SOSC) and the intimation regarding the same has been already
sent to all the account holders.

We are giving below the split of charges for your reference:

Number of SMS sent per Month Charges


Less than or equal to 5 SMS INR2.50
More than 5 SMS INR5.00

Trust the above clarifies.

Please note that SMS transaction charges is applicable only if the Monthly Average Balance (MAB)
of your account is less than INR25,000.00. (This is irrespective of account level MAB).
