She is a young script writer, who already stands on the international stage. while she is doing her work
(her creative process) she need some specific requirements of her working space. While she work, she
prefer to be alone or only with her working companions. Even so, she still define her space with her
working companions. So i conclude that what she need is privacy.
 BASIC
CONCEPT
Because of her activity, i prefer providing her with a space that can give her the sensation of
privacy so that she can focused on her work but not trapped in one room until she done the
work.

Simple Style

Being under the tree, can make us
feel the sensation of covered by roof,
because the spreading of their leaves
act as the roof over our head, but we
can still easily noticed by people
around
Being under the tree and having a
vertical object behind make us feel
more covered, and also we become
more difficult to be noticed, but still
not perfectly get the “privacy”
Being under the ground make us
really hard to be noticed by people,
and finally get the “private” condi-
tion.

Because of the construction is done un-

derground, i use long concrete walls in
order to sustain the ground force from
side. and because the site is near a lake i
have to use pile structure under the foot-
ing in order to prevents sinking in the

QUALITIES
AIR CIRCULATION

The reason i used half covered glass is to make the wind can enter the space, because in afternoon the tem-
perature inside the space is higher than the temperature on the water surface, logically the wind will enter
the building and search another opening which i make on the second floor, therefore the wind will circle
around the inside

LIGHT MANIPULATION AND ELEMENTS OF SURPRISES

By using the sun light and translucent

elements, i manpulate the shadow that
fall inside the building, in order to give
contrast condition between dark and
bright, and also using the light as the
guidance for my client inside
