2 Briefinstruction
ThedoordrivesF9andF12areautomaticallyputintooperationbyselfteach-inroutine.Theteach-in
operationmustbecarriedoutinalanding2carandlandingdoorsarecoupled3.
Toputthedoorintooperation,the8pointsmentionedbelowmustbeobservedonly.Theparameters
aresetbyselfteach-inroutine.Theymustnotbere-setthroughthediagnosticunit.
Forspecialcasestherearetheopportunitytoputthedoorintooperationortochangeparametersbya

buttonT1hasbeenpressedfor5sec.Ifthebuttonisnowreleased,theautomaticstartupwill

TheLEDH2blinksduringtheentireautomaticprocedure.Ifthebuttonisnotreleasedinthenext5sec
afterH2hasstartedblinking,thentheautomaticstartupwillnotbeimplementedandtheLEDH2willgo
off.Noparameterwillbechanged.
Thetimeofoperationshallpreventthattheautomaticteach-inoperationwillbe
activatedunintentionallywhilethecablesetc.arebeingpluggedin.Thismeansthatautomaticstartup
isactivatedbyreleasingthebuttonwiththeLEDH2flashing.Thedoordriveautomaticallycarriedout
theteach-inphasesincludingresetwithouttheneedofanyfurtheractivities2duration:approx.1min3!
Thestatedparametersaredeterminedinthecourseofdifferentdooroperationsbyaspecialalgorithm
havingafuzzycontrol.ThetwoSMDLEDsH1andH3indicatethethreephasesoftheteach-inopera-
tion.

Automaticdoorreversal“isalwaysdirectlyadoptedinaccordancewiththerespectivepositionofthe
HEXswitchS1.Theparameter"DF1E"isalwaysoverwrittenduringautomaticstartupoperationin
accordancewiththerespectivepositionoftheHEXswitchS1.WhenthepositionoftheHEXswitchS2is
changed,thiswillnothaveanyeffectbeforethestartupoperationwascarriedoutonceagain.
AutomaticstartupwillbeinterruptedbyRESETifthevaluesdetectedduringautomaticstartupopera-
tiondonotmakesense,e.g.causedbyblockeddoorsorotherfailures.Parameterswillneitherbe
changednorsaved.ThethreeLEDsgoOFFagain.LEDH4willflashandtheLEDH1toH3willshowthe
possiblereasonsforstoppingtheautomaticstartup.
Automaticstartingwillalsobeinterrupted,ifbuttonT1isshortlyoperatedduringteach-inoperation.The
parametersdeterminedtillthen,willbecomeinvalid.Thisisintendedasaprotectivefunction,which
permitstostopthedoormovementatanytime.
Ifoneortwoparametersarechangedonlyinordertooptimisethedooroperation,LEDH2starts
blinking.AfterchangingthepositionoftheHEXswitchS2,LEDH2willgooff.LEDH2lightsorblinksas
soonastheHEXswitchS2restoresitsformerpositionduringautomaticstartingoperation.Thispermits
todeterminewhetherautomaticstartingwascarriedoutand,ifyes,thedefaultvaluesandwhether
anyparameterswereoptimisedafterwardswithoutthenecessityofhavingadiagnosticunit6.
AutomaticstartupcannotbecarriedoutwiththeHEXswitchS2inzeroposition.WhentheHEXswitch
S2isinposition0,startingcanbecarriedoutbyhandusingthediagnosticunit6andtherespective
diagnosissoftware2Windiag,forexample3.IfLEDH2blinkswithS2inposition0,doorteach-in2D113
andtorqueteach-in2DF113werecarriedoutthroughthediagnosticunit.
Ifstartingoperation2atleastdoorwidthteach-inDF11andmax.doorforce150NDF153wascarriedout
usingthediagnosticunit6withtheHEXswitchS2inanotherposition,LEDH2willremainOFFanddoes
notstartblinkinguntiltheHEXswitchisturnedtoO.
IfautomaticstartupoperationwascarriedoutbeforewiththeHEXswitchinanotherposition,itcanstill
bedeterminedbytheLEDblinking.ThismeansthatLEDH2blinkswiththeHEXswitchbeingintwodif-
ferentpositions.Thisstatecanbedeletedbysettingthedefaultvalues2DF0D3throughthediagnostic
unit6.
