“Abakang Pera”

"There was no tiring day for a dedicated person" In a short documentary, it

touches my heart and soul. I feel the sadness inside of my heart when Filipino people
suffering poverty in their young age. He need to work hard for his family to have enough
money every day and to fulfill their daily necessities. It breaks my heart into pieces
when that dedicated person cannot finish his studies and find opportunity because of
his state of living or the poverty that he was facing with. Of course there was no
member of our society wants to be a poor but we can change that reality by means of
hard work, motivation and intelligence. We can change our life and don't be one of the
problem of our country. There are many ways on how we help ourselves. If I were the
government, I’m willing to spend my own money or the funds of our country for those
Filipinos who take a lot of part in maintaining our indigenous resources and make it
money and also for those people whose hoping to have wealth, prosperity and
opportunity to finish their studies, so they will be able to help their own family and also
our economy to grow.

Everyone has the ability in different ways. Christian is a kind of man who will be
the symbol to us that poverty is not a hindrance to reach his goals for himself and for his
family. Without Christian, we don't have money, clothes, baskets, and many other
things that were using abaca fiber as a raw material. In just simple harvesting abaca
fiber, it takes a lot of part in our economy. We don't know that simple man will be the
one who will help our country and represent our country around the world because of
abaca fiber. All things happen from small to big. So now, we should treasure the things
that we have because there are many people in our country wants to have wealth in
their life. If we are poor, there are some people who are poorer than us. Let’s give them
opportunity to be successful. We should be like them because those kind of person are
the person who will be successful in the future. Without them we cannot live easier. We
should give them importance in our society.
