The SIMNET VEEAM Cloud Connect Backup Repository enables you to extend your Companies disaster
recovery plan by replicating to the SIMNET Cloud. Our VEEAM cloud based storage solution permits you
can keep your backup files, VM copies and metadata. The following features are available to customize

SIMNET’s Veeam Cloud Connect service provides fast, flexible, and reliable recovery of both VMware
virtual Servers and Microsoft Hyper-V. It unifies local on-site backup and off-site cloud replication in a
single hybrid solution; increasing the value of backup for VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtual
environments.

MPLS ALTERNATIVE
If you rely on MPLS transport for your branch office connectivity and when you reach your current MPLS
capacity, increasing MPLS capacity to the next tier can be very costly. With Simnet, adding cost effective
Internet bandwidth to your MPLS is an excellent way to add capacity to your network with additional
redundancy. In most cases, because of our dynamic QoS (Quality of Service) and smart overlay tunnels,
replacing the MPLS with broadband based tunnels provides better value without sacrificing performance.
Simnet provides a quick Return on Investment (ROI) and reduces operating expenses. The total
subscription costs of multiple Internet access lines are often substantially less than a single high-speed
MPLS of equivalent bandwidth, which makes our service an ideal load balancing router for SMBs and

CLIENT ACCESS
Accessing the virtual desktop can be achieved using the VMware Horizon app available on the following

An encrypted web portal is available to provide quick access from where ever you are.
VOICEMAIL TO EMAIL
Voicemail can be personalized, while messages left by callers may be automatically dispatched by email.
Users can check them either over the phone or in the web management interface.
CALL RECORDING
SIMNET provides both automated and event-driven recordings. Event can be triggered by dialing a code
during the phone conversation or on highly regulated environments, call recordings can be started
unconditionally.
ON-HOLD MUSIC
Play a selection of music while your caller waits, or play a company recorded advertisement.
CALL FORWARDING
Calls can be forwarded to another extension in the system or to any other phone such as your mobile.
Therefore, even if you're not at your desk, you are not out of reach.
CONFERENCE BRIDGE
A Conference extension allows users calling from phones connected to the system as well as callers
outside the system to attend a group voice conversation with up to 20 members.
FIND ME / FOLLOW ME
When a caller dials your number, the system will call your cell, home and office lines all at the same time.
The call will be put through the line that answers first, ensuring that you can be easily reached, even when
out of office.
911 SUPPORT
Your VoIP system is registered with a 3rd party Enhanced 911 service that allows your number to be
correctly registered to an address so 911 calls can be located to a registered address. Enhanced 9-1-1
service equivalent to that provided by traditional wireline service.

Our managed services offering is built around a flat rate model. Our calculations are based on the effort
required to support each asset in its entirety. All assets listed within the ‘Summary of Effort’ table are fully
covered under this agreement and no extra charge will be incurred to support these devices, as they
adhere to ‘SIMNET Managed IT Service Features’. Support for devices that are not listed will be charged at
our hourly contract rate.
