**About**
Based on Pptx to Text convertor by sopan_shewale (http://sourceforge.net/project
s/pptx2txt/), this converter uses either the CakeCMD or No_Frills unzippers whic
h are somewhat immune to PPTX zip file sturcture corruption and thus can sometim
e recover the text from corrupt PPTX files where PPT fails.

**Installation**
Extract all files to a folder. Keep CakeCMD, Cake3.dll and ICSharpCode.SharpZipL
ib.dll in the folder with pptxconverter_cake_cmd.exe, if you are planning to run
pptxconverter_cake_cmd.exe. Keep no-frills.exe, UnzDll.dll, ZipDll.dll in the
same folder as pptxconverter_no-frills.exe if you planning to run pptxconverter_
no-frills.exe.

**Usage**
!!!!!!NEITHER THE PPTX FILE NOR THE OPTIONALLY NAMED OUTPUT CAN CONTAIN SPACES O
R THE PROGRAMS WON"T WORK!!!!!!! If an output file name is not specified than th
e generated text file will have the same name as the pptx file with a ".txt" ent
ension tacked on the end.

* cpptx2txtnofrills.exe "PPTX File" > "Output file Name"

**Examples**
* cpptx2txtcakcmd.exe test.pptx mypptx.txt (sends extracted text to the
mypptx.txt file)
* cpptx2txtnofrills.exe test.pptx > mypptx.txt (also send the results to
a file named mypptx.txt)
* cpptx2txtcakcmd.exe test.pptx (sends results to test.pptx.txt)

**Revision history**

+ Fixed leaking SEL file handle by closing it. Now all text is
extracted.
+ Fixed problem of program timing out when there are no notes sl
ide text.
+ Fixed problem of no being able to name an output file with the
">" pipe.
+ Created output name with ".txt" appended to processed file nam
e for commands not including a target.
+ Changed Sopan Shewale and Sandeep Kumar's regular expression s
ubstitution code to look for
 drawing and presentation XML instead of Word XML. Thus
the code is no tailore to PPTX files. Sopan's cod appear to be
still geared to Word XML. I used the information from here:
