Summative Reflection
As what I have mentioned on my first reflection, regarding about this program –

National Service Training Program (NSTP), I said that it was solemn and was

meaningful. After the worthwhile and significant activities and seminars of this program

we have done, I had some realizations and figure out that my argument about this is

reliable and fact-based. Throughout the seminars, I have had the opportunities to reflect

on what is happening in the surrounding around me and had the chance to gain more

learnings on how to make an action for a change. I would say that in the short period, I

can now apply some of these learnings to real-life situations and even though I am

confident to give a hand to others gradually.

In this summative reflection, I will be discussing vast amount of discussions we

have taken and what have this program had done to me. From the start of the program

or in the general orientation, I have learned the things we should cope me behind this

program. Even it would tell us that though this we can be able to develop and mold

ourselves from a simple individual and citizen into a committed and an equipped

individual who is eager to achieve changes for the betterment. Beating around the bush,

on the first seminar, it tackles about “Leadership and Social Responsibility” and

“National Situation”. From the first discussion, I learned the different styles in leading

others, and so the best style to use in order to become a successful leader. Thus, on

the second discussion, it gave me a slapped because I perceived the real and current

situation of our beloved country. By that, I want really to make an act and instance on
how I will contribute in vicissitudes for the good and peaceful lives of everyone. On the

next seminar, it tackles the “Public Health” – in which on this discussion, I become well

educated on how to manage my owns health and become conscious in taking care of

my precious life. It also tackles “Gender and Cultural Sensitivity”, where they spread the

awareness and vision on equal treatment for all races and genders. I learned to take

account all people in the society despite of differences and wants by respecting and

loving them as part of the world. However, not least, on the third seminar, it tackles the

“Human Rights”, it discussed as morally principles or rights essential to all human. I

learned with the discussion, every people must treated right as we want to be treat by

others. All people were born to experience the good life gifted to us, so we can all offer

is to respect and give their rights to be a human with freedom. Next on discussion was

entitled “Urban Revitalization and Countryside Development”, it tackles the regeneration

and development of such place into a more industrialized and advanced country.

Aside from the seminars I attended, we have also an online engagement. The

two topics are “Entrepreneurship and Literacy” and “Peace Issues and Concerns”. In the

first engagement, I come to realize that being entrepreneur is hard that really needs

dedication and passion for enable to reach the success. While in the latter, I learned

that peace is the most thing people wanted to have because of chaos they are

experiencing. I learned that through with the immediate and initiative actions, we could

make a difference in the world. I strongly believe that respecting others is the one way

to start a peace because it tends to have a tranquil place.

With the NSTP, it enables me to open my eyes, minded for the good, and

prepares me on my next milestone of my life.
