includes the study of theory
and literature as its relates
to the colonizer – colonized
experience.
 Post-colonial literature is a
study of the effect of
colonialism on cultures and
societies.
 It represents that how first
world countries ( European)
ruled and controlled “Third
World” cultures and how
these groups have since
responded to and resisted
those encroachments.
