Key Job Functions:

• Ensure security of all Freight Services setup and necessary cons (checks &
balances) against pilferage and misappropriation.
• Responsible for the security of transport operations.
 • Keep supervision on vehicles movement en-route.
• Report suspicious improper activity or disturbances to Security section for
further investigation.
• Supervise that NLC vehicles are not used for transportation of smuggled items
arms / ammunition.
• Ensure checking of NLC vehicles to general duty against transportation of
contraband items of NLC vehicles.
Selection Criteria:
• Retired Lt Col / Maj from Army with requisite experience of int / log setups.

Position: Senior Manager Operations

Key Job Functions:

• Chalk out strategies for effective functioning of different sections in Fleet
Operations.
• Assist General Manager (Operations) / Commander Freight Services in
setting, clarifying and evaluating overall goals and objectives for the Freight
Services.
• Prepare feasibility studies for appropriate utilization of NLC Fleet.
• Responsible for planning and detailing NLC transport in accordance with the
requirements received from the Marketing and Load Management Group.
• Ensure availability of vehicles for the transportation of assigned loads through
out the country.
• Monitor and analyze Fleet Operations reports and take appropriate
actions to resolve any issues.
• Monitor the lifting of liquid cargo quota assigned to NLC.
• Ensure timely submission of reports and returns related to Fleet
Operations, to General Manager (Operations).
• Ensure fitness of NLC fleet for the duty.
• Act as staff officer in HQ Freight Services for Coordination and efficient
execution of tasks of transportation operations with other Branches of HQ
Freight Services.
• Undertake assignments with a view to enhance efficiency of Freight Services.
• Monitor function of workshops and IPs.

Selection Criteria:
• Retired Lt Col (Preferably from ASC), having Pakistan Staff Course / Logistic
Staff Course qualification.
• Minimum 15 years experience in relevant field.
Position: Senior Manager / Manager Technical

Position: Manager Operations

Vacancies: 01

Key Job Functions:

• Assist Senior Manager Ops in matters connected with the ops of NLC’s
transport fleet.
• Monitor and analyze transportation operations / reports and put up
recommendations to Senior Manager Operations.
• Coordinate with load planners group for maximum detailing of NLC vehicles.
• Provide tech advice to transport sections on all dry cargo and liquid Cargo
operation / security and transport matters.
• Provide feedback to Senior Manager Ops in preparation of feasibility studies.
• Keep close liaison with Workshops / Maintenance Units and ensure speedy
repair / recovery of defective vehicles.
• Ensure that the operation of all the vehicle of under command TG’s is
properly being monitored.
• To perform any special task assigned by the management
• Monitor the movement / operations of fleet vehicles in AOR, with the purpose
to achieve the max availability of vehicles for load / marketing.
• Maintain up-to-date state of task vehicles / trailers.

Selection Criteria:
• Retired Maj (Preferably from ASC), having Pakistan Staff Course / Logistic
Staff Course qualification.
• Minimum 15 years experience in relevant field.
