God is only one. God the Father gives everything to the Son, because he loves the Son very much. God the Father thinks how to save us. This is the Father’s great love for us. God the Son accepts everything that the Father gives and he does this because he loves the Father very much. He does everything that the Father wants. God the Son made sure that Father’s plan is done. God the Son is Jesus Christ who proclaimed the good news of Salvation God the Son became man and died for our salvation God the Holy Spirit binds the Father and the Son in a never ending love. Holy Spirit is the love binding the Father and the Son God the Holy Spirit shares the love to us. The bible has two parts Old testament New testament
Old testament prepares for the coming of Jesus
It has a 46 books Written in Hebrew language Three groups of Old Testaments 1. The Law- covers the rules that should guide the lives of the people of God. There are group of 5 books comes from Moses. They are GENESIS, EXODUS, LEVITICUS, NUMBERS and DEUTOERONOMY 2. The Prophets- consists in the writings of those men who gave the message of God to his people. They urged the people to be faithful to the Law. 3. The Writings- is the mixed section of the Old Testament. It consists in all the books that cannot be included in the Law and in the Prophets. Some of these books are about the wise teachings in Israel. Psalms- 150 poetic prayers New Testament- describes the coming of Jesus and what his coming has done to our world. Tells us how wonderful Jesus is. It has 27 books It consist of GOSPELS, LETTERS, a story on the growth of the Church and a work describing future events.
The four gospel are MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE and JOHN
Gospel- proclaim the good news about Jesus as the Messiah Gospel of Luke- The Acts Of The Apostles- which describes the growth of the church. Letters- address different needs of the early Christian communities.
Book of Revelation- the work describing future events
Book of Revelation- is an encouragement to Christians who are under persecution Holy Trinity three Person in one God Holy Trinity is the source and example of true love.
