LED Description
When Meter is powered OFF, this LED1 is OFF (extinguish).
(Relay opens during this state).
Dual-colour
LED1 When Meter is powered ON in AC mode:
Green + blinking LED1 means Meter is in Decommission mode.
LED1 label
examples are: (See “Meter’s Commission Short Code” section for details)
“Power” Green + non-blinking (continuously ON) LED1 means Meter is in
or “Supply” Grace Period mode or Commission mode.
or “Credit” Note: Meter can communicate (for data transmission/ receiving) only when
Meter is powered ON.
Yellow LED2 • When Meter is in normal non-tampering state, this LED2 is OFF (extinguish).
• When Meter detects tampering, this LED2 changes to Yellow (non-blinking,
LED2 label continuously ON) for tampers such as:
examples are:
a) Meter Lid Open, Terminal Cover Open, Magnetic tampers
“Tamper”
(Relay opens if any of these tampers occurs)
or “Alarm”
b) Meter Enclosure Cabinet Door Open tamper (threshold = 5 seconds)
(Relay does not open if this tamper occurs)
After tamper stops, this LED2 can only be switched OFF if user seeks Utility’s
assistance to enter “Clear Tamper” token.
Note:
• Power Overload event will not light up this LED2.
• *Usually, Reverse Power event will not light up this LED2 unless Utility
configures it as tamper.
During Power Overload event: Relay disconnects when total overload time = 45 seconds within 30
minutes but auto-closes 150 seconds later. However, if Relay disconnected more than 5 times because of
Overload, its reconnection time is extended to 45 minutes.
During Under Voltage (Sag) / Over Voltage (Swell) event: Relay disconnects when Supply voltage
falls below 130V (configurable) or rises above 253V(configurable). Relay reconnects automatically
when Supply voltage is restored to > 130V and < 253V.

6 Meter Relay Control Function
Mk32 BS meter can have 1 or 2 relays depending on Utility’s requirements.
When Mk32 Meter receives Relay Trip (Disconnect) command (which can be issued automatically when
certain events or tampers are detected, or when issued manually by Utility in other situations):
Relay will disconnect (open) L circuit in 1P2W-1R meter, or two relays will disconnect (open)
two circuits (L and N) in 1P2W-2R meter.
Relay Disconnect icon will be shown on Meter LCD and CIU LCD.
On the contrary, when Mk32 Meter receives Relay Connect command (which can be issued automatically
when certain events stop, or when issued manually by Utility in other situations):
Relay will connect (close) L circuit in 1P2W-1R meter, or two relays will connect (close) two
circuits (L and N) in 1P2W-2R meter.
Relay Connect icon will be shown on Meter LCD and CIU LCD.
Note:
After ensuring all active tampers have stopped, Utility engineer will need to enter a “Clear
Tamper” token to reset (clear) Meter’s Tamper History registers, (also switch OFF Tamper LED
(LED2), and execute Meter’s Relay Connect command (to close the relay).

7 Meter Communication Ports
7.1 Local Optical Communication Port
Note: Utility’s required baud rate (selected from communication module’s valid range) must be
configured in Meter’s firmware by EDMI factory before Meter’s delivery.
Currently as at 2018-01-11, the only internal comms that is ready for Mk32 BS Meter is RF 433 MHz.
Note:
Please enquire with EDMI Shenzhen about this Meter’s and its CIU’s other comms’ readiness in future
(such as RF 915MHz, RS485 and PLC comms).
Note: Only HD18(RF) CIU can work with Mk32 (RF 4463) meter.
HD16(RF) CIU cannot work with Mk32 (RF4463) meter.
Although this RF hardware can cater for 6 frequency bands, but as at 2018-01-11, only two operational
RF frequencies are currently ready for use: namely 433 MHz and 915 (925) MHz.
• Extended Command Line Protocol (built into and automatically provided when “Mk32” Meter
model is selected in EziView 4.39 software)

8 Custom Display (LCD) on Meter ( Optional for
Split-Meter)
• LCD is optional in Split-meter because its CIU can provide a remote LCD to Split-Meter for
reading a fixed set of meter data items (formally agreed between Utility and EDMI at the time
of Meter and CIU ordering)
Note: If you are using a Split-meter without LCD, refer to CIU manual for CIU LCD chapter
instead because Meter’s LCD described here is slightly different from CIU LCD!
• Meter LCD is 8-digit (9.4 mm high x 5.4 mm wide) with optional backlight.
• “LCD All Display” during LCD Test (when all segments are displayed (ON)) is shown as
follows.
Units

Only used by Mk32 firmware with TOU feature taking effect (configured)!
Only such firmware can display one corresponding enunciator Tn (where n = 1 to 8) ON to indicate
the current active Tariff Rate code !
Note:
• “Unused” or “Not implemented” display icons are shaded in above diagram. They are displayed
(ON) only during LCD Test (e.g. when Meter is powering on). Otherwise, such icons will be
dimmed (OFF).
Meter is currently displaying data items from Meter’s LCD Display Configuration Set
or A or Set B.
Events
(Applicable only if appropriate hardware sensors have been fitted! Currently, event icons on Mk32 LCD
automatically disappear when events stop)
Overload indication
Icon is ON (non-blinking) => this event is active.
Overload means maximum (L circuit’s Active Power / Current, N circuit’s Active
Power / Current) is >= Power (MPL) / Current Overload threshold value.
Note:
Overload is a special event where Utility may not wish to treat it as Tamper but wish
to trigger the Meter’s Relay-Disconnect action when the event occurs and
automatically reconnects the relay when the event stops.
Consists of 8 big seven-segment digits (9.4 mm high x 5.4 mm) wide in Meter LCD’s second row.
In the Auto-Scroll Menu example below, the Main Data Display area is displaying “50.0” value of an
electrical quantity (e.g. Remaining Credit data item) whose unit is “kWh”.
This special indication area consists of 4 smaller seven-segment digits (each 4.5mm high x 2.6 mm wide)
located at upper right corner of Meter LCD.
This can be customized by EDMI according to Utility’s requirements at the time of ordering.
Called Default Menu if it consists of only one Meter’s data item displayed continuously, or called Auto-
scroll Display Menu if it consists of several data items displayed sequentially automatically when Meter
is powered on.
When Meter is powered off, only the first data item of Auto-Scroll Menu is displayed for a short while
(e.g. 20 seconds) in Meter’s power-down state. Then Meter LCD will switch off and Meter enters into
standby mode.
Note:
Auto-Scroll Display Menu results shown on Meter LCD depend on Meter’s firmware while
Auto-Scroll Display Menu results shown on CIU LCD depend on CIU’s firmware!
Meter LCD display results and CIU LCD display results are actually separate sets and may be
different from each other!
In December 2017, HD18 CIU has introduced a new System Short Code “755206” that Utility
may enter on CIU keypad to fetch any or all Display Menu configurations from a paired Meter.
The result is to overwrite the CIU’s Display Menus with the Meter’s current Display Menu
configuration at that point of time!

9 Keypad on Prepayment Keypad -Meter
This chapter describes Meter’s keypad on a Keypad-meter. Keypad on Meter can work only
on Prepayment firmware, not on Postpay firmware.
If you are using a Split-meter with Prepayment firmware, refer to CIU manual for CIU keypad
chapter instead.
Note: Meter’s keypad described in this chapter is slightly different from CIU’s keypad!
Backspace Key Use this key for deleting the most recent error during
keypad’s input process.
Enter Key Use this key for submitting User’s inputs to Meter.
Tokens serve different types of purposes. They can be used for energy top-up, testing or control purposes.
In prepaid energy application, the user produces his Meter ID swipe card when he wishes to purchase
energy credits to top-up (replenish) the existing energy balance units for his specific electricity meter. He
will be issued a 20-digit Standard Transfer Specification (STS) Credit Transfer token (such as 3358-3222-
0216-4538-3325) which is keyed on a keypad and submitted to the energy meter for authentication,
validation and then incrementing (replenishing) the energy credits (energy balance units).
1. When the Meter has been powered up, LCD* will display the data item/s of Auto-Scroll Menu e.g.
displaying Balance energy credits. (*Note: This could be Mk32 Meter LCD and/or CIU LCD.)
Audio and visual cues on LCD: A beep will be sounded for each digit input . Meter or CIU LCD will
display the corresponding digit input.
Improve readability on LCD: A hyphen (-) will be automatically inserted by the system after every
group of 4 numeric digit input.
Input counter on LCD: LCD will display the total digits entered by the user so far.
4. Complete the input process by pressing Enter key on keypad to transmit the entire 20-digit
Token to the Meter.
Token Results:
After a Token has been transmitted to the Meter, the Meter will decrypt, authenticate and validate the
Token. The Token results will be displayed on Meter LCD or/and CIU LCD.
Note: Meter’s KeyType value must not be “1” otherwise Meter will reject tokens!
Refer to the following table for the list of possible Token Results on Meter LCD. (Refer to CIU manual
for Token Results displayed on CIU LCD).
Code Description
Accepted: Token was successfully processed.
y-ya-ya For Credit tokens: This means prepaid energy credit in meter was
increased successfully. (Check the Balance Credit data item in Auto-scroll
Menu) to confirm that this is so).

Key_Change_Token:
This type of tokens should only be entered by Utility engineer and not by end-user. They are
used for changing the Supplier Routing Code. In normal circumstances, they are not used.
For this type of tokens, a pair of tokens are required to be entered. Any one of them can be
entered first. It is provisionally accepted, and the Meter will wait for the other token to be
entered next. The successful end result is indicated by “y-ya-ya”.
y-ya-1s If First key-change-token has been successfully entered and now waiting
for Second key-change-token to be input next.
y-ya-2n If Second key-change-token has been successfully and now waiting for
First key-change-token to be input next.
Special-execution functions can be provided by Mk32 Meter firmware if Utility requests them to be
configured by EDMI Factory at the time of placing order.
Second Use (only if “Low Credit Beep Alarm Delay Time” threshold is
set to a very big value such as 65535):
Key in this code to silence Meter’s beep alarm permanently (to get
longest snooze) when beep is sounded during Meter’s emergency

11 Meter’s Handling of Alarms
11.1 Mk32 Meter’s Handling of Power Overloading
Power Overloading occurs when the User’s load power consumption exceeds the installed power’s limit
(also known as Overload Alarm Threshold (MPL).
Note: A second type of Overload detection (Overcurrent Limit in mA) has been introduced. These 2
types of Overload detection are mutually exclusive (i.e. activating one of them will deactivate the other).
When Mk32 Meter detects that Power Overloading is occurring, it can issue a beep warning to the user
and implement power cuts (i.e. power disconnection) according to Utility’s requirements. Mk32 Meter
will handle Power overloading as follows:
1) Mk32 Meter can be configured (by EDMI factory at the time of placing order) to give a Beep alarm
sound when Power Overloading occurs.
2) If the Power Overloading continues for 45 seconds, the Relay will open (disconnect). After 150
seconds, the Relay will automatically close (connect) again.
3) Within 30 minutes, if several intermittent Power Overloading events have occurred and their Total
Cumulative Time = 45 seconds, the Relay will open (disconnect). After 150 seconds, the Relay will
automatically close (connect) again.
4) But within 30 minutes, if their Total Cumulative Time is less than 45 seconds, this cumulative counter
will be reset to zero.
5) Within 30 minutes, if a total of 5 opened (disconnected) Relay incidences due to Power Overloading
have occurred successively, the Relay will be opened (disconnected). After 45 minutes, the Relay will
automatically close (connect) again.
When a voltage sag or swell is occurring, Mk32 Meter will detect and mark it as an event, and log it in an
event log file. Power cut (i.e. power disconnection) can also be implemented according to Utility’s
requirements. Mk32 Meter will handle supply voltage surges and swells as follows:
1) Utility can set the required sag / swell threshold values in relevant Meter registers.
If the relay is tripped, then only if supply voltage rises to an acceptable value (which must be greater
than a Threshold2 value and also less than a Threshold3 value) for at least 5 seconds, the relay will
automatically close (connect) so that power supply will be restored!
If the relay is tripped, then only if supply voltage falls to an acceptable value (which must be less than
a Threshold3 value and also greater than a Threshold2 value) for at least 5 seconds, the relay will
automatically close (connect) so that power supply will be restored!
Based on Utility’s requirements, Mk32 Meter allows Utility to select any of the following events to be
handled as tampers (electricity theft / unfair use). Tampers are handled by Mk32 Meter slightly
differently from ordinary events:
o Power Reversal
o Meter Cabinet (Enclosure Box) Open
Independent beep and / or Relay customisation for each tamper in the above list according to
Utility’s requirements:
o Configure Beep (buzzer) alarm using Beep Mask Register
o Configure Power cuts (by tripping the relay) - to stop electricity theft -using Relay Mask
Register.
Note:
Power Overload is a special event but is excluded from above list of tampers (because Utility
usually will not want to set it as tamper type). Nevertheless, Utility can still implement Power
cuts (Relay trip) for this event using the same register above. The difference is when Power
Overload event stops, the relay will close (re-connect) automatically without requiring the input
of a Clear Tamper Token! (This way of handling is similar to Meter’s Out-of-Credit (zero balance
credit) event!)
For Tampers only: To clear a tamper, especially if power cut is implemented for a tamper, the end-
user needs to contact their Utility immediately for assistance. Utility engineer (not the end-user) will
need to make sure the tamper cause is stopped and then input a Clear Tamper token to the Meter to
clear the relevant tamper’s log file, because this is the only way to close (re-connect) the relay to
restore the power supply!
Utility can configure Mk32 Meter to issue a warning to the user and implement power cuts (i.e. power
disconnection) during Meter’s low, zero or negative credit conditions according to Utility’s requirements.
Mk32 Meter will handle Meter’s credit situations as follows:
When Meter’s Balance Credit (Remaining Credit) reaches Low Credit Threshold value, the leftmost
LED1 (e.g. labelled as “Supply” LED) can be customised for one or several stages (tiers) of low-credit
warning according to Utility’s requirements! This means changing of LED1’s behaviour from green-
lighted (normal AC Power Supply indication) to red-lighted (Low Credit indication) and starting
LED1’s blinking with or without Beep alarm (buzzer) sound according to Utility’s requirements!
Note: This LED1’s blinking frequency is ON for 1 second and OFF for 1 second. Each beep alarm is a
1kHz-frequency sound that persists for 2 seconds. And as the User’s Balance Credit diminishes, the
beep alarm will be sounded more frequently (interval time decreases between the beeps)!
2) Beep Alarms: During the course of a beep alarm sounding, the User may switch it off temporarily by
pressing “Manual-Scroll Display” pushbutton (called “Select” button) or any key (on the Meter’s
keypad).
However, after a user-defined temporary halt time interval, if the Meter’s Balance Credit still remains
lower than its Low Credit Threshold value (due to no or insufficient Credit top-up / replenishment),
the Beep alarm will be re-sounded!
This user-defined temporary halt time interval can be configured in the firmware. It basically controls
the buzzer’s temporary halting from User’s last pressing of any key to switch off the last buzzer alarm
to the buzzer alarm’s next restarting!
3) Out-of-Credit condition: When Meter’s Balance Credit reaches 0 kWh value, Utility can request
EDMI factory to configure the Meter’s Relay to trip (disconnect) automatically.
Note:
This same configuration will also trigger Meter’s Relay tripping (disconnection) automatically when
Meter’s Credit falls below Debt Threshold value when Meter is in Debt mode! See Step 4(b) below.
If the Meter’s Relay is disconnected, the Beep alarm that was triggered by the User’s (low) credit
condition will also stop automatically.
4) Allow or Disallow Debt during Negative Credit: This depends on Utility’s requirements whether to
allow or disallow Meter’s credit to decrease past zero kWh into negative credit.
If Utility has configured Meter’s relay to trip (open) at Out-of-Credit (0 kWh) stage, the user must first
enter (execute) a special “8001” hash code during this stage so that Mk32 Meter will start checking
relevant Meter register for Utility’s choice whether to allow or disallow Debt!
a) If Utility’s choice is no, then entering “8001” hash code has no effect. Meter’s relay will remain
tripped (i.e. power cut remains enforced). This means the user really have no choice but to quickly
go and purchase some Credit token to top-up his Meter to positive non-zero Credit condition again!
b) If Utility’s choice is yes, then entering “8001” hash code will close (connect) the Meter’s relay and
the Meter enters into Debt mode which means Utility is providing some Emergency credit kWh
(Debt allowance) to the User to continue using the electricity provisionally.
However, User still needs to top-up Meter’s credit as soon as possible to repay the debt that will
increase over time or top-up even more to return to a safe normal credit condition. Otherwise, when
Meter’s credit reaches the Meter’s Debt Threshold value, the Meter’s relay will trip (open)
automatically (implement power-cut immediately)!
5) Meter’s Normal Credit Condition: It is only when the user tops up (replenishes) the Meter’s
Balance Credit to bring it to a value greater than its Low Credit Threshold value that the Meter’s
leftmost LED1 will change from red-lighted (Low Credit indication) to non-blinking green-lighted
(normal AC Power Supply indication) again!

B
B Mk32 Security Overview
This chapter describes Mk32 Meter’s security system briefly.
Each Mk32 Meter is designed with 10 meter security levels numbered “1”, “2” …. till “10”.
Each meter user must belong to one of these 10 meter security levels.
Each meter security level contains 255 security groups numbered “1”, ” …. till “255”. All registers in
Mk32 meter must belong to one of these 255 security groups. (Each security group consists of zero, one
or several registers!)
“0” is a special Security Level that will deny access to a user at Meter’s logon level.
Users
Each Mk32 Meter allows a maximum of 8 meter users (including one special “Admin” user) to be created
for meter’s logon verification before granting read-only or read / write access. Each meter user’s name is
10-character long (maximum length) + Null character.
Each meter user’s password is 15-character long (maximum length) + Null character.
From highest to lowest privileges, the order is SuperAdmin user called “EDMI”, followed by one special
Administrator user account called “Admin” and finally the normal (ordinary) user accounts.
Important:
Before Meter’s delivery from EDMI factory, “Admin” user account must be given all required Write
permissions by EDMI factory. Otherwise, Utility cannot use EziView Security’s function screen to add or
remove more read or write permissions for “Admin” user subsequently.
Therefore, a meter user is given appropriate permissions in Mk32 Meter (i.e. either read-only access
rights or read / write access rights) for any meter register by giving him the appropriate permissions for
the relevant register’s security group in the relevant meter security level that the meter user belongs to!
This is the reason for defining a 256-bit Read-only permission mask and a 256-bit Read / Write
permission mask in each meter security level!

C Mk32 Meter Firmware Upgrading
Meter firmware upgrading requires a special software or software tool for downloading an upgrade
firmware file from a PC (USB port) to Mk32 meter (optical port) and then executing this upgrade file in
the Meter.
Note: This software tool is provided only upon request to Utilities who have special upgrading
requirements and under EDMI-controlled circumstances.
Procedure:
1) Firstly, download the firmware upgrade file completely to the Meter through its local (optical) port or
remote (modem) port.
2) Next, issue a command to bring the Meter into Boot mode and start the upgrading process.
Advantages: Firstly, should any power disruption occurs during the firmware upgrading process, this
method has an advantage because it is able to continue or restart the firmware upgrading process
automatically when Meter has been re-powered up. Secondly, this method can work by itself without
any human involvement!
3) Lastly, after the upgrading process has completed, the Meter will return to its normal operation
automatically!
It can be used on all Mk32 meters (whether they have installed or have not installed DataFlash).
However, the firmware upgrade file can only be downloaded to the Meter through its local (optical) port.
Procedure:
1) Switch off the Meter’s power supply. Open the Meter cover and short (connect) the “Factory Jumper”
inside the Meter.
2) Close the Meter cover. Wait for the Meter to go into Sleep mode (indicated when its LCD displays
nothing). Now, uncover the Meter and press a special small welding-plate inside the Meter for 3
seconds while you power up the Meter.
Above step will bring the Meter into Boot mode (indicated by “b o o t - - - ” message on Meter LCD)
and start the downloading of firmware upgrade file (indicated by
“b o o t - - d ” message on Meter LCD) to the Meter through its local (optical) port only.
3) Next, after the downloading process has completed (indicated by “b o o t - A b ” message on Meter
LCD), the Meter will soon start the firmware upgrading operation automatically (indicated by
“b o o t - - A ” message on Meter LCD).
4) Lastly, after the firmware upgrading process has completed, the Meter will restart automatically and
return to its normal operation!

D
D Meter’s Mounting & Installation
Installation Material
Require:
3 pc of M4X12mm self-tapping screws with Ø 6.5mm diameter screwhead
B / C : Secure Meter by
lower screws.
(See Step 4 below)
Step 1: Leaving enough space (about 3-5mm screw thread length distance) between the screw head and
the wall in advance for the Meter’s hanger (top keyhole), secure the top screw (1 pc of M4X12
self-tapping screw) into the wall.
Step 2: Mount the Meter by placing (hanging) the keyhole on the 3-5mm length portion of M4X12
self-tapping screw left in advance in Step 1.
Step 5: Make sure the power supply is switched OFF. Connect the wiring cables to the Meter correctly
according to the correct Meter’s terminal configuration (usually laser-marked on the back of
terminal cover) by factory according to Utility’s selection at the time of placing order.
Caution! Incorrect connection will cause danger (short-circuit) !
“Meter Terminals & Connection Diagrams” chapter shows a list of wiring options for Mk32 Meter.
Caution!
DO NOT USE POWER-DRIVEN
SCREWDRIVERS! Screwing method
(manually by hand) will require different
torques. Torque value for Meter’s current
terminal screw’s suitable tightness depends
on:
• Wiring cables that the installation personnel
is using: Different cable types and materials
(single-core/twisted/threaded,
copper/aluminium material) and different
cable sizes will require different torques.
Installer is advised to check their cable’s suitable and safety torque value with their cable manufacturer!

E
E Meter’s Commission Short Codes
Mk32 Meters can be delivered from EDMI factory in “Decommission” mode, “Grace Period” mode or
“Commissioned” mode.
In Decommission mode, Meter LED1 will blink in green when Meter is powered ON. Relay is in open
(disconnect) state. Tamper detection functions are disabled.
In Grace Period mode, Meter LED1 stays ON continuously non-blinking in green when Meter is
powered ON. Relay is in closed (connected) state. Tamper detection functions remain disabled until
Meter completes 30 minutes (default) usage or 5 kWh (default) consumption (whichever comes first).
Method 1: When Meter has fulfilled Grace Period conditions: 30 minutes (default) usage or 5 kWh
(default) consumption - whichever comes first, it enters into Commissioned mode automatically.
Method 2: Alternatively, if Utility does not want to wait for Grace period mode to expire, the command
is “8010” <Enter> to change the Meter from Grace Period mode to Commissioned mode immediately.
*This method requires the physical keypad on Meter or CIU, or some software’s remote keyboard
function.
In Commissioned mode, Meter LED1 stays ON continuously non-blinking in green when Meter is
powered ON. Relay is in closed (connected) state. Meter’s tamper detection functions are enabled from
now on.
F
F “Tamper Status” Data Item’s Decoding Method
As at 2018-01-03, only Manual-Scroll Display Menu selects this data item and needs this explanation.
To let Utility know what tampers have occurred on the Meter, EDMI factory will configure
Manual-Scroll Display Menu to display:
“Alarm Status Word” data item (Register F302 which was started and used in Mk29D meter & HD16
CIU)
or this “Tamper Status” data item (new Register F312 which was started from Mk32 meter)
This section explains how Utility can decode and understand this particular data item’s value when it is
displayed on Manual-Scroll Display Menu!
Description:
Display a combination string of codes (from the biggest code value to the smallest code value &
starting from left to right!)
Formed by the tamper codes of any tampers that have occurred on the Meter, this string of codes
helps to keep a simple historical record for tampers that have been detected on Mk32 Meter!
Codes
1:Meter Terminal Cover is opened
2:Meter Terminal Cover is opened during Meter’s power-off condition
3:Meter showed Power reversal has occurred
4,5:Meter showed Unbalance Type A has occurred
6,7:Meter showed Unbalance Type B has occurred
8:Magnetic Field Interference
9: Meter Lid / Cover is opened (including during Meter’s power-off condition)
Example:
If “Terminal Cover Open during Meter’s power-off condition”, “Power Reversal” and “Unbalance Type
A” tampers were ever detected happening on Mk32 Meter, then this data item (Register F312) will record
them as “5432” where “5,4” is the dual code for “Unbalance Type A” tamper, “3” is the code for “Power
Reversal” tamper and “2” is the code for “Terminal Cover Open during Meter’s power off condition”.

Tamper (N) wire and non-zero current in Phase (L) wire, or when L current > N
(Also called current by a threshold value (configurable).
“N Unbalance”)
Maximum Power Limit Also called “Power Overload Limit” or “Installed Power Limit” or “Power
(MPL) Limit Threshold”
“ON (non-blinking)” This description means an LED stays in lit (ON) and non-blinking
continuous state.
Remaining Credit Prepaid Energy value in Meter that user has purchased in advance and
not used yet. Units is in kWh.
Also called “Balance Credit”, “Available Credit”, “Remaining Energy”,
“Remaining Charge”, “Remaining kWh” or “Energy Balance” or “Meter’s
Prepaid energy credit”.
Low Credit Also called “Low Balance Credit” or “Low Remaining Energy kWh”.

token recorded in Meter’s token transaction table!
Note: For a new Meter that has not been recharged with any credit
token previously, submitting tokens with issue date and time earlier than
2004-04-01 9:05 will produce “Old Token” error message too!
Terminology Definition
DIN-Rail Refers to the mounting method onto a metal rail of a standard type
(size). It is widely used for mounting meters, switches, circuit
breakers and industrial control equipment inside equipment racks.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIN_rail
Note: The term “DIN-Rail” has nothing to do with refer to a meter’s
wiring method. EDMI Mk32H meter is designed for “DIN-Rail” application
in metering industry and meets IEC 62052-11, IEC 62052-21 and IEC
62052-31. However, please note that Mk32H wiring mode is “Top IN,
Bottom OUT” (it is not DIN wiring or BS wiring).
