SPORTS

Sports are very good for active relaxation and are important for our physical and mental health.

There are lots of types of sports and games. We can do outdoor or indoor sports in, under or above
water, wind and the earth. Shortly-anywhere we want. Outdoor sports are as follows: golf, skiing,
sledding, windsurfing, fishing, climbing, hiking (tourism), mountaineering, horse riding or ralleys.
Indoor sports include: table tennis, gymnastics, chess. Ball games athletics (sprint, long and high
jump, javelin throw and so one) tennis, shooting, skateboarding and skating (roller, speed or figure).

THE OLYMPIC GAMES- Now there are two types of the Olympic games – summer and winter games.
Each of them is every four years; it means that in fact the Olympic games are every two years. The
first Olympic games were only in Greece and only men could take part, war had to finish and there
had to be peace. Pierre de Coubertain founded modern Olympic games in 1896 and their idea is: It
is not important to win but to take part. Now in Olympic games there are only sports events. There
are big problems with drug abuse, because many of sportsmen want to win and it is not important
for them how.

MY RELATIONSHIP TO SPORT- I think that I´m a sports person. When I was younger I go swimming
I thing since my 6 years to my 15 years. Now I ´m going to the sports center every 2 days(Monday,
Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) others days I´m going to walking, running. In school I have
specialisation PE. We must do athletics, gymnastics, swimming, ball games. We have to make a
school leaving exam from PE. Next what I do are skiing, snowboarding, rolleblading, cycling, plaing
tennis, badminton and many others.
