At least 2 or 3 of the letters are a page long,
and the other(s) are roughly ¾ of a page.

character (key phrases used by the
character) from the novel.
Student had more than 10 errors
(misspellings, incorrect usage of
punctuations, etc.) demonstrating
they did not proofread before
submitting.
Student was able to choose one
character but was unable to maintain
the point of view (unable to keep
personal opinions out of the
characters perspective, or confused
two different points of view on an
event) throughout the letters.
The letters were either in proper
letter format, the required font, font
size, and spacing, or they had none
