INTRODUCTION:
Doctrine of signature is an age old concept of finding parallels
between the plants, animals and minerals in their appearance
,stuctrue, behavior, environment, in which they are present
and the symptomatic disease expressions of the human body.
The study of doctrine of signature helps us to clarify and verify
the therapeutic value of natural remedies.
It is one of the simplest ways to understand and correlate the
symptoms of the remedy.
CASE PRESENTATION.
A 40 year old male came with complaints of ithching
(aggravation: night) and well defined circular lesions over the
left knee and left foot since 2 years.
He had been on various antifungals but obtained no relief
He was diagnosed as teniacorporis.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS.
APPEARANCE- dark complexion , moderate built.
LIKES- spicy foods
DISLIKES-nothing specific
STOOLS- satisfactory
URINE-satisfactory
PERSPIRATION-satisfactory
THIRST- at regular intervals
DREAMS- of snakes very frequently
THERMAL STATE- hot patient.
MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS .
Right since the patient entered the room it was a DIFFERENT
ENVIROMENT with him, when asked about his chief
complaints he was constantly moving from one topic to
another and extremely loquacious. Their was no relevancy in
his talks nor their was consistency.
He narrated his mental state with some of his day to day
activities, his basic nature , his work but nothing seemed much
pequliar.
We could see well like how in between his talks would take
the paper fan and fan himself .
When interrogated for this he said that he is always wanting
fanning .but from a little far.
DIAGNOSIS- T eniacorporis.

ON EXAMINATION
Well defined circular lesions ofdermatophytosis over the left
knee and foot which appear blackish purple.
PRESCRIPTION.
It took as no long to correlate the symptoms of
1. Dreams snakes
2. Franctic loquacity
3. Fanning from distance
4. Dark complexion with blackish purple lesions of tenia.

patient is hypersensitive.
5. Stool of snake is black and offensive and so all discharges
are dark black and offensive.
