MÖLLER ALLEGRA 900
MÖLLER ALLEGRA 900 is optimized for surgical
procedures in day clinics, surgical centers, and
hospitals. It is mainly recommended to be used for
ophthalmic, ENT, and reconstructive surgery.
With its newly designed electromagnetic brakes, the
microscope is exceptionally easy to move but stable
in the working position.

EIBOS
The apochromatic optics provides a sharp and
contrasty image for the surgeon at any zoom setting.
Due to the large stereo base of 25 mm, an exception-
al depth perception is achieved.
In addition to the motorized focusing device,
MÖLLER ALLEGRA 900 contains an X-Y coupling
for horizontal tracking in ophthalmology and for
focusing in ENT surgery. As a standard, the micro-
scope is equipped with a 200 mm front lens, but
other objective lenses of 175 mm to 400 mm focal
length can be chosen.
It is equipped with 1:6 zoom and X-Y coupling.
The high-resolution apochromatic optics is
complemented with an inclinable eyepiece head
and 10x wide angle oculars. In ophthalmic surgery
a red reflex enhancer provides ideal recognition
of the capsula. Optionally, MÖLLER ALLEGRA 900
is available with an integrated video camera

Due to the inclination of -8° to +100°, deep cavities
and narrow canals can be illuminated and ex-
amined. The microscope always remains balanced.
No springs need to be tightened, no knobs turned.
The electromagnetic brakes retain the microscope
safely in its working position.
To facilitate the alignment of toric IOLs during
operation, MÖLLER TOCULAR is recommended. A
keratoscope and EIBOS, the non-contact wide-angle
ophthalmoscope for vitreoretinal surgery,
can easily be mounted.
For coobservation Möller offers various observer
scopes, attached via a beam splitter. Furthermore,
the high-resolution monitor MÖLLER MEDIS,
equipped with a touch screen, can be mounted to
the microscope arm. It allows viewing and con-
trolling of video recordings and snapshots during
the operation.
Intraoperative light management
MÖLLER ALLEGRA 900 contains a filter disk for
daylight, softlight, UV protection (yellow filter), blue
light (excitation of fluorescence), and green light
(better recognition of blood vessels). In addition,
two spot diaphragms are integrated against glare.

Floor Stands
High-tech solutions
Electromagnetic brakes in the floor stands FS 2-21
(halogen) and FS 2-25 (LED) support the smooth
movement of MÖLLER ALLEGRA 900. Additional
light sources and a holder for a foot switch can be
mounted directly to the column as can trays (with
transformers) for camera control units or other
equipment. The front side accepts a high-resolution
monitor (optional).
Both versions are computer-controlled with a graph-
ic display for programming the individual start set-
tings of the operating surgeons and the surgical
procedures. The graphic display also controls the
microscope parameters, brightness, and the carrying
weight of the articulated arm.

The shape and internal reinforcements of the col-
umns make the floor stands extremely stable against
vibrations. The cables are completely covered, guid-
ed from an easily accessible cable duct in the col-
umn through the arm system up to the microscope
suspension. A plastic cover protects the base of the
floor stand against corrosive liquids. The design,
including the double castors with brakes, already
meets future standards.
Mechanical solutions
The floor stands FS 2-11 (halogen) and FS 2-15 (LED) are
equipped with newly designed mechanical brakes, which
are preadjusted in the factory for free-floating movements
as well as stable working positions. The light source is
mounted externally for easy access. A tray (with trans-
former) to carry a camera control unit may be fixed to the
column.
If only little space is available in the operating room, the
floor stand FS 1-12, with mechanical brakes, a 150 W
halogen light source, and a switchable backup lamp, is
recommended in conjunction with the microscope
MÖLLER ALLEGRA 900. The light is guided to the mi-
croscope via fiberoptic cable. For applications other than
in ophthalmology, Möller offers the floor stand FS 1-12XE,
equipped with xenon illumination.
