PLACEMENT DESCRIPTION
Description of student teaching setting (i.e. My classroom during the current school year, 2017-2018, has
cultural/ethnic diversity, disabled/exceptional 22 students. I have 12 boys and 10 girls. The percentage of
populations, community, etc.): Caucasian students is 80%. The remaining non-white
students include Hispanic, biracial and Asian children. One of
my students is European and is well traveled. I have three
students with divorced parents. I have two students that are
ELL and get services. I have one student that is beginning to
meet with the school social worker and is being evaluated for
ADHD among other behavior things. I have one student that
receives medications for ADHD and anxiety. I have one
student that I will began to work on the CAIT process before
finding out she was suddenly moving. Two students from the
ASD classroom spend time in my classroom each day. I also
have two students that meet with a Kids Hope mentor each
week.

STRENGTHS IN WORK:
Addy was a very positive and enthusiastic contributor to my classroom environment! She engages each student well and has
a passion for teaching. She is easy to collaborate with and is flexible and willing to do anything I ask of her for our classroom
and with the students. She is thorough with the activities and plans and executes all she does very well. Addy is dependable
and a great communicator. She exhibits many excellent teacher qualities.
