Buddhism
This religion was founded by Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha) more than 2,500
years ago in India. Buddhism origins in India. The holy book is the Tipitaka and the
five precepts of the Buddhism are commitments to abstain from killing living
beings, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying and intoxication. Those precepts are
meant to develop mind and character to make progress on the path to
enlightenment. Followers of Buddhism don’t acknowledge a supreme god or deity.
They instead focus on achieving enlightenment—a state of inner peace and
wisdom. When followers reach this spiritual echelon, they’re said to have
experienced nirvana.
Christianity
This is a monotheism religion. The disciples of Christianity are called Christians.
The main branches are: Catholic, protestant and orthodox faith. The Holy book is
the Bible. This book is divided in two parts, old testament and new testament. The
sacraments are: anointing, baptistm, communion, confirmation, holy orders,
marriage and reconciliation. The symbols are Alpha and the Cross. Alpha
represents Jesus.
Hinduism
some erudite say that is the oldest religion in the World, and surge like a fusion
between some Indian cultures and traditions. This religion is widely practiced in the
south of Asia, but It surge in India. Hindus value many sacred writtings, known as
the Vedas, which are a collection of verses and hymns written in Sanskrit and
contains revelations received by ancient saints and sages. There are two primary
symbols, the Om and the Swastika. The Word swastika means good fortune or
being happy in Sanskrit and the symbol represents good luck. The om symbol is
composed of three Sanskrit letters and represents three Sanskrit sounds (a, u and
m), which combined are considered a sacred sound.

Islam
This is a monotheism religion. The disciples of this religion are called Muslim. The
holy book is the Coran and the main branches are Shia’s and Sunnis. The five
pillars of Islam are: Shahada, Salat, Azaque, Sawm and Hajj. The family is the
most important thing. The symbols are the Cresent and Star and the Allah in
Arabic. Muslim believe that Islam began in 610 CE when Muhammad started
receiving revelations from God, or Allah in Arabic.
Judaism
The holy book is the Tanakh. The symbols are the David’s Star, the Menorah and
the A Kippa. Another holy book is the Talmud. The Lifecycles events are: Birth,
Circumcision, Bar/Bat Mitzvá, Wedding, Divorce and Death. The Types of Judaism
are: Hasidic Jews, Reform Judaism, Conservative Judaism, Reconstructionist
Judaism and the Humanistic Judaism.
Sikhism
The founder is Guru Nanak. This is a monotheism religion. The Sikhism was
created during the conflict between Islam and Hinduism. The Sikhs believe in Live
honestly and word hard, treat everyone equally, be generous to those lees
fortunate than you and serve others. They believe that they are going to live after
death and all religions are good ones. Whatever religion people practice, they will
be good in it.
