Martha : “Oh... this day so hot! Do you feel the weather
was so hot lately?”
Grace : “I think so. I’m so sweaty now. Actually, what’s
going on with our weather?”
Martha : “I think global warming is getting worse”
( Daniel and Elisabeth come)
Daniel : “Hy guys. How are you?”
Martha : “we’re fine, but we just feel this day so hot”
Elisabeth : “Why do you look so worried Grace?”
Grace : “ No. I’m not worried at all. I am just thinking
about the causes of global warming and its harmful
effect.”
Elisabeth : “oh, I see. It is really a much talked issue in
the present world”
Daniel : “guys, I don’t know much about it. Can you
explain me?”
Martha : “oh, sure. Global warming is the gradual
increase of world’s temperature. The greenhouse effect is
the most likely cause of this global warming”
Elisabeth : “The greenhouse effect seems somewhat
complicated to me. Please tell me something about it”
Grace : “Okay! The greenhouse effect is the gradual
warming of the air around the earth as result of heat being
trapped by environment pollution.”
Daniel : “oh thank you. I can understand. So, Global
warming caused by emission of motor vehicle gases such
as carbon dioxide, right?”
Elisabeth : “Ok ok. I think this weather is already too hot.
I’ll turn on AC”
Martha : “Stop! Don’t you know that global warming as a
result of using AC?”
Daniel : “are you serious? I never heard it before”
Grace : “ yeah. AC emits cfc gas”
Elisabeth : “Cfc?”
Grace : “yeah, CFC. Clorofluorocarbon. Because of CFC,
There is depletion of the ozone layer.”
Daniel : “Thank’s for the info.”
Elisabeth : “I think my body has a musty smell. Uhh..
I’m so sweaty now. Ah yeah, I just use parfume”
Martha : “Sabeth! Parfume also contains cfc”
Elisabeth : “Ok! What I do always wrong”
Martha : “Sabeth, I’m sorry. I don’t mean it. If we don’t
stop global warming, who else?”
Elisabeth : “Okay, allright allright... Strange indeed!
What might be the effects of global warming?”
Martha : “The effects of global warming might be serious
and dangerous. It is predicted that world temperature may
rise”
Daniel : “what will happen?”
Grace : “ This is greatly reduce mankind’s ability to grow
food and damage wildlife and wilderness”
Elisabeth : “I see a horrible situation is waiting for us due
to global warming!”
Grace : “ Yes, Indeed! Besides, due to global warming,
the ice in the polar continent will melt. I’m affraid about
ice bear and penguins”
Elisabeth : “Really global warming is great threat for our
existence in this world.”
Daniel : “How can we stop global warming?”
Martha : “ we have to work to reduce the mession of
carbondioxide and plant trees more”
Grace : “and don’t forget to reduce using of AC and
parfume to stop global warming!”
(bell rings)
Elisabeth : “Guys. The bell is ringing let’s go”
