1. During a fligh of Boeing 737-300 from Canada to Lima in the Captain´s instrument panel
a flag appeared in the face of Mach/airspeed indicator and the Vmo overspeed limit switch
could be inhibited from producing and overspeed warning and beside that when the pilot
observed the Standby Horizon (attitude) indicator, the presented information of the attitude
movements of 14 ° in climb given by the IRS is not reflected in the horizon standby
indicator. It is particularly known that when the gyro receive electrical power after three
minutes the flag of indicator faults is move out of view, but now the gyro failure flag is
presented. According to the maintenance manual this indicator works as a backup system
for Inertial Reference System which provides its own visual indication of airplane attitude.
When reviewing in the electrical diagram it has been checked that cable W205-217-24 is
correctly connected, likewise it has as reference figure 1 and 2, so you should:

a) Analyze and explain with examples the posible causes what did the Vmo of
Mach/airspeed indicator fault for?
b) Analyze and explain at least two possible causes for what is presenting this
problema in the Standdby Horizon (attitude) indicator.
c) Determines if necessary the procedure for deferred maintenance, of Boeing
737-300 aircraft in the Standdby Horizon (attitude) indicator, considering the
limitation.
d) Determine and base the requirement for a new attitude instrument using the
IPC manual of Boeing 737-300 for effectiveness from to (034034).
e) Explain according to the wiring diagram which action or actions must be
executed considering that the Standby horizon instrument is energized with three
phases of AC current, and check its operation according to the maintenance manual
of Boeing 737-300 aircraft

2.- You have been hired to work at the Nazca aerodrome, basically on a Piper PA 30
aircraft that, within its presentation and arrangement of avionics, has a VOR KX
170B, an ATC KT 76A and an alternator Model TAL 12-70 which should generate
14 VAC to RPMs from 700 to 2700, but it did not happen.With the following figures
