Research Problem: The need to know the effects of bullying to teenagers with broken

family

Research Topic: To provide programs/seminars to draw awareness on the

psychological effects of bullying to both the parents and the bullies

General Question: How can we build awareness to the psychological effects of bullying

to parents and the bullies

Specific Questions:

1. What kind of advertisement should be distributed to build awareness to the

psychological effects of bullying?

2. How can the parents and the bullies be aware of the psychological effects of

bullying?

3. What facilities shoud be prepared for the programs and seminars?

General Statement: The purpose of this research is to discover the effects of bullying

to teenagers with broken family

 Significance of the Study

This study will benefit the following:

Bullying Victim

For they will experience less bullying because bullies are now aware of the effects of

what they are doing to their victims. They will now be more confident and they will gain

more friends.

Bully

For they will now be aware of the psychological effects of bullying to their victims.

This study will help them realize that what they are doing has a large impact to their

victims. They will have a chance to change their attitude and become a better person.

They will be able to focus on their studies instead of nagging their victims.

Parents of the Bullying Victim

For they will be able to guide and advice their bullied child/children after knowing the

psychological effects of bullying to their child/chilren. They will be able to give their

bullied child/children a knowledge on how to defend theirselves in a good way against

bullying. They will also be able to feel confident about the security of their child/children

in school that they will experience no harm.

Parents of the Bullies

For they will be able to educate their children to do the right thing. They will be able

to correct malpractices of their child/children.

Schools
 For they will be able to improve their characteristics. They will also be able to

improve the number of enrollees because of having a zero-bullying rate. They will also

be known and the income rate will rise.

Teachers

For they will be able to educate their students to avoid bullying. They will also have

more knowledge on the psychological effects of bullying which they can teach to their

students. They will also have a knowledge on how to handle a bullied student/s and

they will be able to manage it well.

Guidance Counselor

For they will be able to gain more knowledge and informations about the

psychological effects of bullying. They will be able to give right advices to the bullying

victims and they can comfort them well. This study will also help them improve the

service they are giving to bullying victims.

Scope and Delimitations of the Study

The information gathering in this research was conducted in all private schools in the

city of Tabaco which lasted from September to October of this school year 2016-2017.

The respondents of this research are the teenagers with broken family who had an

experience and/or experiencing bullying. The research made use of advertisements

against bullying and the guidance records of each schools with bullying incident to

gather data and use it to provide knowlodge of the psychological effects of bullying to

teenagers with broken family.
