The purpose of this site is to point out specific pieces of work that I have completed this semester

that demonstrate different learning outcomes. The first tab is the homepage where this reflective
statement is located. This reflection serves the purpose of evaluating my learning process
through the idea of self-reflection. As I write this paragraph and add work to my website that I
have completed over the semester, I can take time to reflect on the effort it took to complete the
work and the difficulties and accomplishments that went along with each piece of work. The
second tab, connecting skills to career is the first assignment I completed in Independent
Seminar. For this assignment I located and utilized the campus resources connected to academic
courses and University life. I researched skills needed and important information about a career
in Human Resources. This assignment was helpful in the decision of deciding if this career is the
one for me. The Third tab is the second major assignment we completed. The Digital Vision
Board follows from the first assignment. I took the information that I researched from the first
assignment and made it visually appealing in my website. It will now be clear to employers that I
took the time to research the job and that I know what will be expected of me. The fourth tab is
my Resume here the employers can learn about me and it is short, sweet, and straight to the
point. The resume highlights the best qualities of myself and what I have to offer based on what I
have done in the past. The fifth tab is My Work. It includes First Year Symposium and some
assignments that are considered Thought topic four. The First-Year symposium was the most
important assignment I completed in my first year because it taught me how to meet deadlines,
how to work and communicate in a group, and proper presentation skills. These assignments are
my thoughts on a possible return to society, a reflective statement, and my transition to summer.
All of the assignments on this website have taught me the importance of perseverance,
organization, communication, motivation, and problem solving. With the shift to online school, I
had to have perseverance and motivation to complete all of my assignments to the best of my
ability and on time. I have had to communicate with my professor when I have questions and to
turn my assignments in, and I have had to problem solve to figure out what exactly is required of
me on each assignment. The last tab is contact me, so I am easily reachable if after they look
through my website, they decide it is worthy enough of contacting me. The site is easily
navigable as it takes you from introduction, through all of the work I have completed, and then in
the end to my contact page. Please enjoy my website as much as I enjoyed making it.
