1, Discuss Major Mental Health Disorder ?

There are five major categories of mental Health Disorder:

A. Anxiety disorders

Anxiety disorders are a form of mental illness that causes people to


experience distressing and frequent bouts of fear and apprehension.

Many will experience these feelings when periodically doing things like
public speaking or a job interview.
Those with anxiety disorders experience these feelings frequently, and
for an extended period — six months or more.

B. Mood disorders

A mood disorder is a mental health problem that primarily affects a


person's emotional state.

It is a disorder in which a person experiences long periods of extreme


happiness, extreme sadness, or both.

C. Schizophrenia and psychotic disorders

IT is a serious brain disorder that is marked by significant changes and


disruption in both cognitive and emotional function.

Schizophrenia has an effect on the most basic human aspects of life (e.g.
language/communication, train of thought, perception of objects, self and
others).
D. Dementia

Dementia is distinguished by a disruption of consciousness, as well as changes


in cognitive health, such as memory loss and motor skills.

The most common forms of dementia include:

 Alzheimer’s disease
 Health conditions (e.g., head trauma, HIV, Parkinson’s); and
 Substance-induced dementia (e.g. drugs/alcohol abuse, inhalants, or
exposure to toxins).

E. Eating disorders

IT  is a mental disorder defined by abnormal eating habits that negatively


affect a person's physical or mental health.

2, List Common sign of Mental health Problem ?


 Feeling anxious or worried
 Feeling depressed or unhappy
 Emotional outbursts
 Sleep problems
 Weight or appetite changes
 Quiet or withdrawn from life
 Substance abuse
 Feeling guilty or worthless
 Changes in behaviour or feelings
3, Discuss preventive Measure of Mental Health Problem?
The objective of prevention are to reduce the incidence, prevalence, and
recurrence of mental health disorders and their associated disability.

 Increase social, professional, and political awareness of advancements


and the importance of mental health prevention and promotion
 Move clinical practice toward at-risk-oriented detection and
intervention
 Provide interventions designed for each developmental stage aimed at
minimising the impact of risk factors
 Promote interventions with a multidisciplinary and multilevel
(psychological, social, familial, and legal) approach
 Promote healthy lifestyles including nutrition and exercise
 Encourage school-based interventions (targeting children, parents,
and education professionals).

4, Discuss Mental health services?


The Mental Health are provided by different institutions Psychiatric hospital

And the services they provide include -

 Community Mental Health Programs


 Early Diagnosis and Treatment
 Rehabilitation
 Group and Individual psychotherapy
 Mental Health Education
 Use of Modern Psychoactive Drugs
 After Care Services

5, Discusss Mental health effect of khat ?


Khat can cause many effects including-
 mood changes
 increased alertness
 excessive talkativeness
 hyperactivity
 excitement 
 aggressiveness
 anxiety
 manic behavior
 paranoia
 psychoses.
 Trouble sleeping (insomnia),
 lack of concentration usually follow.
 Also have psychosocial effects
