Module 1
Navigation Assessment - Assessor (External /Internal)
Approved Training: Live Virtual Classroom – 8 hours (1 day)
This course explores key issues and provides practical advice on:
What defines a Static & Dynamic assessment including check list
improving safety and best practices.
The way to conduct the assessment with a systematic approach
BTM Role play exercise – Master pilot information exchange etc.
Preparing an effective report.
Trainer will demonstrate and discuss preparation on the screen.
COURSE CONTENT
There will be an online assessment for all the participants. The participants
who pass the online exam (70% and above) will receive “Certificate”
Module 2
Remote Navigation Asssessment – Assessor
Approved Training: Live Virtual Classroom 8 hours (1 day)
Content:This course explores key issues and provides practical advice on:
• What defines an RNA – VDR assessment
• Key points to look for Radar – ECDIS – play back
• Understanding bridge team mind set – Human/ Behaviour for actions
• Objective evidence for observations
• Check list including human behaviour
• Operations and understanding of Key VDR programmes JRC/Furuno
• Preparing an effective report.
• There will be an online assessment for all the participants. The
participants who pass the online exam (70% and above) will receive
“Certificate”
Certificate for each Module will be issued.Each certificate is independent
of one another & will be provided subject to satisfaction of the IRClass
Academy - NAV Trainer.
