We are looking for a Head of the Sports Department in Kamp-Lintfort and Kleve

The General Student Committee (AStA) is the executive of the student body and represents it
inside and outside university. It carries out the decisions of the Student Parliament (StuPa), is
accountable to it and does the business of the ongoing administration of the student body.

The mission of the Sports Department is to make athletics accessible to all students, and work
in collaboration and as a complement to Hochschulsport.

Responsibilities:
● Organization and execution of sports events
● Cooperation and communication within Sports Department
● Budget management
● Communicating and cooperating with Hochschulsport
● Taking care of sports equipment

Requirements:
● Passion for sports
● Experience with event organization
● Creativity
● Friendliness and team skills
● Reliability and flexibility
● Good English and/or German skills

Note: Your effort is compensated monthly with 200,00€. This is equivalent to 20 hours per
month that you can freely distribute. If you already have one or more paid position(s), please
inform yourself in advance of whether another commitment affects the taxes and other
contributions you have to pay (i.e. pension and health insurance).

Der Allgemeine Studierendenausschuss (AStA) ist das ausführende Organ der

Studierendenschaft, und vertritt diese nach außen und gegenüber der Hochschule.
Er führt die Beschlüsse des Studierendenparlamentes (StuPa) aus, ist diesem gegenüber
rechenschaftspflichtig, und erledigt die Geschäfte der laufenden Verwaltung der
Studierendenschaft.

Verantwortlichkeiten:
● Organisation und Durchführung von Sportveranstaltungen
● Zusammenarbeit und Kommunikation innerhalb der Sportabteilung
● Finanzmanagement
● Kommunikation und Zusammenarbeit mit Hochschulsport
● Organisation von Sportzubehör

● Leidenschaft für Sport
● Erfahrung mit Event-Organisation
● Kreativität
● Freundlichkeit und Teamfähigkeit
● Zuverlässigkeit und Flexibilität
● Gute Englisch- und / oder Deutschkenntnisse

Hinweis: Dein Aufwand wird monatlich pauschal mit 200,00€ entschädigt. Dies entspricht 20
Monatsstunden, die du dir frei einteilen kannst. Solltest du bereits einen oder mehrere bezahlte
Positionen besetzen, informiere dich bitte im Vorfeld darüber, ob ein weiteres Engagement
Auswirkungen auf die von dir zu zahlenden Steuern und sonstigen Beiträge (beispielsweise
Renten und Krankenversicherung) hat.
