1. Open the hood and remove the factory grille and sup-
port rod from the hood by removing the 8mm mounting
hardware (not shown, 6 rod screws and 6 upper nuts).
Remove the support rod from the grille (not shown).
2. Use masking tape to protect the entire factory grille
surround from possible scratches while installing the
“Mesh” grille inserts.
3. Use a grease pencil to mark the edges of the hood
catch bracket onto the hood for alignment per-
poses and remove the bracket (10mm fasteners)
for the following modification.
4. Measure over 1/4” from the bottom corner of the
catch bracket assembly and drill a 7/32” hole
(where shown). De-burr the hole and apply paint
to the bare metal. This hole will be used to attach
the supplied hood latch rod. Reinstall the modified
catch assembly back onto the hood (not shown).

5. Remove the plastic factory grille inserts from the sur-
round by unclipping them using a flat blade screw-
driver.

9. Align the left and right lower mounting brackets into
place. Drill .125” holes (1/8”) through the holes in the
brackets and into the lower mounting bosses. Install the
3/4” black truss head screws into the lower mounting
holes as shown.
10. Break off the lower factory mounting tabs as they will
be visible through the “Mesh” grille.
