• Pavilion Theme - “Island of Ingenuity”
• Pavilion Design – ‘Water’
• Interior Design – Concept developed by the University of Moratuwa
• Consist of :
• 212 sqm of Exhibit area in ground floor
• 172 sqm of office space in the 1st floor

Focus on Sector Displays
• Create a story for the sector highlighting;

- Unique Selling Points (USPs)


- Depict the future of the sector (in 5 -10 years where you want to be)
- Link historical evidence & modern technology if applicable

• Display should be focused on visitor engagement

• Sector should present creative displays using High – Tech AR (Augmented


Reality) VR (Virtual Reality) and aligned with futuristic vision. (Your industry in
next 5 – 10 years)

• Pre-promotional activities allowed (Digital & Non - digital)

• It is not expected to exhibit product samples (This is to be in par with standards


maintain by other international pavilions)

• Display should be with high quality AV, Graphs, Texts & Photographs and images
Do’s & Don’t’ s
• Sectors are encouraged to exhibit their products in the first
floor as no products displaying are allowed in ground floor
• The agreed languages that shall be utilized at EXPO 2020 are
in the following order:
 Arabic (Compulsory)
 English (Compulsory)
 French (Optional)
• Exhibits must not interfere with the functionality of the
installed building systems
• Make full use of the technology at your disposal
Other Facilities provided

• Digital Screen (43’ x 15) can be used for any sector


on rotating basis as per their request
First Floor Arrangement
• Commissioner General office, meeting room and
amenities
• Space - Approx. 80 to 90sqm
3.95m high
• Any B2B discussions can be arranged in the 1st Floor
• Seating Capacity – Maximum 8 pax.
• Sector has to inform their requirement early to
arrange the B2B meeting
• Equipment's for product display is provided

Venues can be reserved based on the requirements


Sri Lanka Day Celebrations
03rd January 2021
• Two sessions:
- Official Ceremony with presence of Heads of the
State
- Evening session with cultural and entertainment
items (Fashion shows, Culinary etc.)
• Sector representatives are invited to participate
Operation at the Display Area

• Two representatives from a sector at any given time.

• Should be in Business Attire


EMC
• Sectors could discuss their themes with the selected
EMC with regard to their displays and any other
events proposed
