A Initiative and planning 7/7 2/20/20. Zach was playing with Theo at the block area constructing a train. He said,
“Theo let’s put all the sign at the end and the train will stop!” They ended staking all
the signs at the end of the track.
B Problem solving with materials 7/7 01/31/20. At the art table Zach helped two peers who were building a rocket.
Genevieve said, “Lock Austin, we need to hold it here!” Zachary rapidly helped them
sustaining the part.

7/7 02/20/20. Playing at the block area Zach was able to build the track of a train

D Emotions 7/7 01/31/20. Zach was observing the fish in the classroom. Every child has given him a
name. He was there for a couple minutes smiling and putting his finger on the fish
tank likely talking to the fish. When I asked him if the fish has a name, he said it to me
(I couldn’t understand the name). Zach likes animals.

“Guys let’s do something fun with these tubes! I have an idea! Let’s washing them

I Gross-motor skills 6/7 02/13/20. Lucas and Zach were getting ready to go outside. Zach was jumping
sideways 7 times before putting on his jacket. He threw himself on the carpet and
started laughing with Lucas.
J Fine-motor skills 7/7 02/20/20. At the literacy table Zach drew his picture. He does tripod grasp drawing.

K Personal care 7/7 02/21/20. Playing at the playground Zach starting running and said to his peers, “I am
going to run to make my legs strong!

M Listening and comprehension 7/7 02/14/20. Zach came and the children were already doing activities. He saw my
puppets and said to his mom. “I want to play with the puppets. Look the pig fly!”He
attended the activity for about 20’.

O Alphabetic knowledge 7/7 02/20/20. At the literacy table Zach putted together on the magnetic board the
letters of his name without mistakes.

Q Book Enjoyment 7/7 02/13/20. Miss Emma read the book “Don’t Touch My Hair!” then she stated a
dynamic with the children saying “Is your right to say don’t touch me. I will ask if you
want me to touch your belly button and you have to let me know.” Zach was having
fun laughing. He said “This book is so funny!”

S Number and counting 7/7 02/20/20 At greeting time the children were counting the days of the month. Zach
counted all the days without asking or interrupting.

U Measurement 7/7 02/21/20. Zach and Theo were constructing a train at the block area. They started
lining up the track and Zach said, “Theo we need 2 more pieces to make a huge one.
We can put two more here and the train it goes back.”

Y Music 5/7 01/30/20. At circle time I played the song “Tooty Ta” Zach didn’t wanted
To sing and dance. He putted his hands in his pockets.

Z Movement 7/7 02/14/20. At the puppetry center we practiced creative movement before starting
the activity with the puppets. Zach, Genevieve and Alyah, followed all the
movements laughing (no music included with movements).

AA Pretend Play 7/7 02/21/20. Zach was the only boy with three girls playing in the beauty salon. He was
observing how they were doing the hair of one of the dolls. He helped them
sustaining the doll’s head until Ilyana finished the hair style.

CC Experimenting, predicting, and drawing 7/7 02/20/2020. At the science center Zach worked in a experiment observing how
conclusions baking soda makes foam when he dropped some vinegar and said, “since what is that
smells, why makes bubbles? It like volcano and makes a lot of sound!”

EE Tools and technology 02/14/2020. Zach was playing with Neil and Angelo outside in the sand box. He said,
“look guys this is a construction truck. We can put the sand there!”
