Rahu and Ketu are considered most malefic planets in astrology.

But if they
come to give blessings one can conquer the world. All kinds of powers can be
attained by good position of rahu and ketu in your horoscope.
Well today’s article is not about telling you the same story which you might be
hearing for long time if you are pursuing astrology for decades or you are just
a beginner you must be already knowing about these planets.
There are chances they mostly you had heard notorious thing about these
two.
Considering the great power they hold inside themselves we need to
understand why it is necessary to have a good position of north node (Rahu)
and south node (Ketu) in your chart. In order to understand their powers and
capacity to do wrong things to native it is very important to understand the real
nature of rahu and ketu and their core characteristic.
Many of you must be knowing already that Rahu and Ketu does not hold ruler
ship of any sign because they do not exist physically but virtually. So why they
are so powerful even when they are virtual and this is the secret nobody
revealed other than only few well learnt astrologers which I am going to share
here in this article so do read till end.
As said above north node and south node are two virtual points in the orbital
path of sun and moon. In reality why they are so powerful is because they are
actually of shadow of sun and moon symbolically. Rahu is the shadow of
moon and Ketu is shadow of sun.
Like Saturn is enemy of sun because it is born from wife of sun “Chaya” which
means shadow and because of this Saturn is dark in physical appearance as
per mythology. Because of the core properties of two planets they are enemy
of each other. As one is light and other is shadow and because of their
shadow nature they are considered agents of Saturn in astrology.
Astronomically Rahu and Ketu are intersection of moon’s and sun’s orbit
around earth. But symbolically they create shadow for moon and sun
respectively. Which can be translated as rahu is negative side of moon and
ketu is negative side of sun.
If rahu is negative side of moon(mind), rahu should have opposite properties
than of moon and this is what it is astrologically. Good moon can create clarity
of emotions and thought. And rahu (negative moon) create
obstructions,illusions. In short eclipses the moon (mind).
Similarly ketu is negative side of sun, this means that if ketu is bad then you
will have negative side of sun. i.e you will find native mad in ego, hungry for
power, lack of self-confidence and lack of self-worth , bad ketu people do self-
doubt etc..
Rahu has the power to shadow moon and ketu has the power of overcoming
sun. they do harm other planets as well but max harm is done to sun and
moon.
When ketu afflicts moon, you will find people with violent aggressions and
fantasies, drug addiction, negatively charged emotions etc. On the other hand
when rahu afflicts sun, it crease confusion about self as rahu is confusion and
sun is self. These kind of people will be indecisive and confused mostly. When
rahu afflicts sun it gives tendency to lose oneself due to negative psychic
forces.
Now the most important and revelation part comes here. As explained earlier
rahu and ketu are negative side of moon and sun respectively. And they have
the power to overcome these most important luminaries in any horoscope.
Sun is self and “atman” who has a goal for present incarnation and represents
your current birth capacity to perform tasks and achieve your goals. While
moon is your astral energy and it is your past. Moon’s condition defines your
mental state not only in this birth but also reveals that what karma you have
accumulated in past to have current moon position in your chart(because
moon is mind).
So after sun, the most important planet can be said Ketu,
because it has the power to harm sun who represents
self(atman) and your capacity to achieve goals in your
current life.

Still you need not to get afraid of them because they do not completely rule
your chart as there are 7 other planets as well. But whenever hidden things
need to be checked like psychic disorders and other hidden things including
occult one should look upon condition of rahu and ketu in native’s horoscope.
The other important part or clue which came in my observation with these two
planets is, if they are negative side of moon and sun. then in order to give
relief to the native suffering from the bad placements of rahu and ketu one
should adopt the positive sides of sun and moon and with this you will surely
get the relief in suffering present in your life. One should also do donation
related to rahu and ketu and improve or adopt the qualities of sun and moon
in life to avoid their vicious cycle and that is purely based on karma and surely
manifest the good results.
