 Cooperation Social Responsibility Towards
Remote communities’ development in Oman

Before we start, Human beings in their nature take care of each other we don’t
want / like to see another human being hurt or in pain. That what we know and
been thought from young age to take care of each other.

As we all know in Oman we have the capital which is Muscat and we all know
how developing this capital is going under, With all the new services and
technology we get it first in Muscat and there’s no doubt in this we all know it. On
the other side we all know that Oman has a remote community so many of them,
how they live everyday how they go to school…etc. They are living behind us the
rest of Oman (Muscat) we they have hard conditions to got to the school, Working
also is a big thing there because there’s children to be fed and other living
requirements to be fulfilled, for that it’s normal for the house hold to work in
Muscat while the rest of the family are in that remote place so he can provide for
them and can see them in the weekends.
Most of the people think that this the problem that the Government should take
care of it. But in reality, it’s our problem to take care of it.

Does it Affect Oman?

Yes it does, How you ask? it affect’s tourism when people come to Oman they
enjoy the nature that we have the mountain’s the people here are kind, But when
some of the people are living in harsh conditions are they will still be kind? When
these people don’t get the attention that they need will it be a good face for Oman?
No it’s not, tourist’s after they enjoyed Muscat and go to other states in Oman they
get shocked about the difference in living and services are available. So then no
more tourism places to go just only Muscat and That’s affect’s Oman
economically, Also that they are humans like us that they are the people of the
same country as us that Islam tells us to take care of each other.

Cooperation role in front of this issue?

Cooperation’s as we know have a big hand in development of the country, Shell
Oman can take a major in this one because Shell Oman has shown a big interest in
development of the communities in the past and the safety of the whole
community. They can make a program that people can volunteer to go and work
and build and make the lives of people living in remote places easier. Also
donating and providing the needed services to these places is a must.

How will it help the Cooperation?

Cooperation It brings great benefit to the societies, as the societies that
cooperate with them can achieve more and also benefit from the
cooperation: increase fraternal ties between individuals. Get things done
quickly, on time and in good shape. To save and organize time and
effort, instead of taking responsibility for doing the work by one party,
the work is distributed among individuals and equally among them.
Demonstrate cohesion, strength and not easily compromising their
capabilities, as it is difficult to defeat cooperating individuals, just like if
there is a stick that can be broken on its own, but if it is a group of sticks
it is very difficult to break it once alone. Getting rid of selfishness and
self-love, whereby everyone offers what they have and gives others love
and conviction
Solution
A program that people can volunteer and have other organizations get
together and work side by side to provide the help and services to these
remote communities, cleaning the roads, building health institution,
providing other services like telecom and other life requirements.
Advertising the program and raise founds/donations to do all the needed
stuff.

Results to see
The first thing is that the awareness will rise up and people will talk
about this situation and have ideas and opinions about it, The
organization that handled this program like shell we said will get parse
and love from this communities and whole of Oman, There image in the
country will go up and every one will talk about them and use there
services because of this good program that they did for our people.

Opinion
We think that this will spread to good will of the organization and make
the people in remote places happy and gives the entity a good
contribution in our society. It’s the most viable solution we can see for
this situation.
