This evidence is divided into two parts: A composition and an audio file. Read the
instructions below and make sure you complete both tasks.

A. Answer the questions below. Use the examples as models of the grammar and
vocabulary you have to use.
Example:
One of the reasons why I didn’t study English before it is because I thought it
was too difficult. I didn’t understand my English teacher at school and that
was frustrating.
The first reason why I did not study English is because I find grammar difficult.
The third is because I thought it was not going to be such an important language and
now I realize that it is very essential.
And the fifth is because I did not understand the language and that discouraged me.
2. How different would things be if you had learned English before? (Name and
explain at least 5 things.)
Example:
If I had learned English some years ago I would have accepted a job a
multinational company offered me five years ago. One of the requirements
was to speak English and my level back then was very low.
If I had learned English in school, I would have done much better in the tests of
knowledge. The grammar differs.
If I had learned English a few years ago I would have won the scholarship to travel to
the United States, one of the requirements was to speak English.
If I had learned English a few years ago would have been the best in the classroom at
school, I was always regular in English
B. Record an audio file of yourself answering the following questions. Use the
examples as models of the grammar and vocabulary you have to use.
1. Why are you studying English? (List and explain at least 4 reasons.)
Being proficient in English is going to increase job opportunities, I can get work in
another country, there are more opportunities for a bilingual person.
