Reflection

There are different styles of giving out information to individuals, some ways can be

media, essay, blog, video, and many more. The reason for having so many different ways to

spread information is because every person has their own way of understanding and

remembering information that they had just received. There are so many ways to draw the

attention of a person to read the text that was provided. When starting off with a certain

format it's always good to be aware to include every little style within that format.

The media can help construct and shape the message that is being said to the

audience that is read. The topic I had decided to inform the readers with was global warming

and how it is affecting the animals. When first writing it in my essay I decided to target

three important points, the effect on land animals as well as marine animals, and how the

effect of those animals can cause a domino effect on human life styles as well. When

providing information it's important to get information that the audience may not know

about. In doing so the types of fish I put on my essay were ones where they are not well

known, or they are known but would not expect to be endangered by global warming.

Within a website format context there are different aspects to consider. There are

people who do not like to read as much but like pictures, videos, and bullet points but there

are also those who like to read about the information that is being provided. When putting

the information it's important to spread out the information in different ways, which will

help keep the audience interested in what they are reading. When providing the information

I did not include all of the information I had on my essay to my website. I created the tabs I

wanted which were my home page, marine life, land animals, solutions, resources, reference

and about. I did not want to include a tab about how it will also affect the human lifestyle

but instead include a solution on how to fix and reduce the speed of global warming. When

providing some types of solutions I had put on my website were some small tips that we do

during our daily life that can make a big change, as well as a video and pictures. This way I

was targeting different types of audience since I had different styles of information that was

being provided.

Some great ways to make sure your audience will want to continue reading the

website is to make sure the information is short but with many sections. A great way to do

that is with bullet points and throughout the page having small fun facts that will make the

reader want to continue to see other fun facts. When picking out the information from my

essay and transporting it to my website I had to pick those information where they were

providing what I needed in a short paragraph. I had also included some of my primary

scholarly source to help support the information I was giving to my audience. It's important

to give some sources out as well because it helps not make the website biased.

Creating two different styles of spreading information help me understand that

majority of the younger audience will prefer to have the information will less words and

more videos and pictures, however those who are older more who are passed generation Z

will prefer to having more words rather then videos and images because if this website was

used as a source, they would want more information which will help the readers essay. They

would even find resources to use and they would be able to use those websites in their

essays. However, there was some information that I had not included or not enough of in my

essay but was in my website. For example, I had put more solutions in my websites rather

than in my essay because in my essay I was showing the readers how the effect of the

animals will also affect humans' lifestyle. There are different ways of spreading information

but when doing a certain format its god to keep in mind how to get the every individual's

attention, whether they like to read or instead the picture and videos.
